GT1 VS GT2
DATE: March 20th TIME: 6:00 PM UTC.
!!SOME ASPECTS MAY BE SUBJECT TO CHANGE IF IT IS SEEN BEST TO DO SO DUE TO TIME ZONES AND PEOPLE NOT BEING ABEL TO MAKE IT!!
The event will be a 1 hour 30 minute race between the best sports cars GTA5 has to offer, the Jester RC, Massacro RC and Feltzer in GT1 and the Comet, 9F and surano in GT2.
Qualifying, March 19th 6.00pm UTC
The race starting positions will be decided by a 10 minute 7 lap non-contact qualifying session. Positions will be determined by the fastest lap. I will take a picture and announce the starting positions later in this thread
on the 8th lap please stop in the pits s we can all get all 7 laps done and we will then finish in the order we entered the pits in
(if someone else can take a picture it would be grate as my phone doesn't always want to cooperate)
Race day, March 20th
There will be a 30 minute pre-lobby session at 5:20 UTC for everyone to join. I will then open the race lobby at 5:50pm UTC and order everyone in their starting positions for the start of the race. we will then do a short formation lap round a shorter version of the track, when we come to the last turn the safety car will pull of to the left and we will continue right following the track we will line up side by side for a Rolling start 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, and 11th will all be in the right lane, 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th, and 12th will be in the left lane,
we will stay at the same speed till we hit the Start/Finish line marker, when 1st gets to the line he will be racing, as soon as we see first go we will also be racing
Pit-stops March 19th
There will be 3 compulsory pit-stops, when you stop you will need to wait for 20 seconds, you will be signaled to leave but a gun shot, you are also aloud to count your own 20 seconds but for things to be fair leave when you here the gun shot go off. You will be allowed to make them as and when you wish. If you miss any stops, 30 seconds will be added for each pit you missed.
if you are seen short cutting the pit lane you will be given a 40 second stop and go penalty, tho the time will be added at the end of the race.
