So congratulations to
scrazor92 for the quite close overall win!
Thank you all for participating in my first event at NODO as both organizer or participant. I'm happy that so many guys signed up and stayed through the whole event. I had great fun throughout the races, even if I messed up my own races a bit with bad concentration. Communication was good, there was some heat to here sometimes, but I think it was all within normal boudaries. We knew the races would become crowded, so frustrating incidents were sometimes inevatible. Happy to see that the upside-down starting grids have led to 5 different guys win the 5 races.
I'd like to thank especially for your patience between the races when you had to wait for me doing my tables and starting grid setup. One thing I completely missed was the winners' photo XD.
Thanks
scrazor92 for the video teaser, looks amazing and brought to the spot!
Overall I think the racing level was very competitive and maybe we all could have been a bit cooler in some situations. That includes myself, while I often was battling in the tight middle field. But at least the incidents I was involved in went fair I think, and I also enjoyed some very nice back and forth battles. - I'm sorry for everyone that might have been frustrated throughout the races' havoc sometimes. - Yes, the track is difficult with so many cars, but I also think most of us maybe rushed it a bit too hard sometimes.
I'm also happy about the server and lobby stability. We had last one participant, but I think he went offline by himself.
3 guys were missing, one was excused, and special sorry to
MatWielki who tried to get into the session but couldn't. We did invite him twice but obviously he did not receive the invites.
There is one incident involving possible missing of the mandatory pitlane lap. I try to settle this on direct level and get proof. If the situation is clear I will also take the consequences and rectify the classifications that way. - I will keep you posted on this. For now I don't want to make it too big of a deal in advance.
Feel free to give any type of feedback or suggestions. Any criticism or anger is fair enough, as long as it's not harsh shitting over the event like the one feedback I got afterwards yesterday. I think on that level it's out of place and I have no time for that.
It was a fun evening, thank you guys, and I hope to meet/race you again
OpalescentFalcon Thread can be moved to completed events' forum, thanks.
