Umm... there's another DINKA Motorsport? I didn't realize there was a crew already made and I made one without noticing: socialclub.rockstargames.com/crew/dlnka_motorsport Mine has the proper DINKA logo and the colour matches with the DINKA Jester Racecars' Livery, which is #9A0000AA. Looks good, if you want, you can join mine or if there's any problems, then it's fine.

Good job on that crew logo, and very clever to use a "L" instead of a "I" :p You look new to the NoDo forums, I suppose you didn't take the time to read the Pit Lane introduction? There is no issue with us using the same in-game company as a sponsor, especially as we're not playing on the same platform (I'm on PC). Also, I understand your crew is independant from NoDo since you have specific rules for it? This one is a team I mostly, only, use in NoDo events. It's funny you registered today and I just thought about creating this thread today as well even though the team was created last year :p Basically in case of a "conflict" between two team owners, as stated in this thread, the older and most active team is verified. But the amount of work put in the team also counts and you sure did put a lot of work in your crew. I'd be happy to team up and unite our efforts.

I'm jealous on how easy your emblem is to make

Yes, my crew is completely independent from NoDo (unless they do an event week / weekend with other crews including maybe mine) and does come with its own rules similar to what other racing crews have. And I'll check out that pit-lane guide you posted. But if there are any members from NoDo, then they're more than welcome to join once we start planning some races first.

Yep, I read the thread, pretty much my crew is up to standards. I mean, if you want, you can use mine as the sponsor but don't worry, I will have the team colours done in no time, everything else is already good to go. I'm not saying I am forcing you to join, it's only an offer. Would you consider taking it?

Hello Ganjalo, ButtKicker. I'm not involved in the creation in this group in any way (at least, not as of now), but when you have this whole situation figured out, would you mind letting me know? I almost created a third Dinka Motorsports group had I not searched the threads XD. I'm extremely interested in joining a racing crew, particularly one revolving around Dinka. If you want a third opinion on anything relating to design, creation, rules, etc, whatever, or if you're just looking for your first racer, I'm here.

Oh, yeah, right, thank you for bringing this back to life. In most NoDo events where drivers race in teams, we use in-game companies as sponsors, and we create these crews to have a cool logo and a tag next to our name. It's a bit of roleplay. For example, look at BIGGamerer's great Redwood Racing team or HiBerg's Obey Motorsport. The crews we create here in the Pit Lane are only "facade", or "display" crews, in the sense that they only provide a crew emblem and a crew color. They are not proper crews that are meant to gather players. If ButtKicker or you feel like creating your own racing crew, then please do so! And I highly encourage you to do so with Dinka because it's great :p But then, it doesn't belong to the Pit Lane in my opinion.

Well, it's your crew, you can do whatever you want! If you want to actively recruit players and have a proper organisation, I suppose a crew forum like this one would be nice.

Well according to the rules of the crews created, the one that is used for racing and used by players is the main crew that can participate in these races, however, if there is the same crew, but with a more detailed crew emblem, crew colour, crew motto, etc. then that crew is also eligible to participate with the same crew if they are up for racing. And tbh, my DINKA Motorsport crew has all of the detailed stuff I mentioned above, and plus, my crew is based on design etc. and that includes racing if we wish to participate with Ganjalo's Crew.

Well, there's now 3 racing crews that are the same. There's mine, there's Ganjalo's crew and someone else's crew.

I don't understand, guys. Are you willing to create a Dinka Motorsport "display" crew to participate in NoDo events or a standalone racing crew with its own set of rules, player recruitment, forum, etc? Edit: Yes, quoting you, ButtKicker: Thanks for the nice comments. You're clearly stating your crew is independent from NoDo. So I don't understand what you want? Both our crews can coexist, I don't see any issue, and indeed yours is great with the proper name and logo. Your crew has nothing to do with NoDo and, hence, nothing to do with my Dinka Motorsport Pit Lane team.

I want to help create or join whatever option is the type of crew that would follow NoDo rules and participate in NoDo events, in the fashion that it could become a NoDo Verified team. As far as I understand currently, that would mean wanting to join Ganjalo's crew. Unless ButtKicker wants to change the focus of his crew in order to be in NoDo, or at least organize it such that it is more involved and official in the eyes of the NoDo fandom and forum; then I would join ButtKicker, and if that were the case, I would assume Ganjalo would follow suit, although I don't want to speak for him completely.
Something else that came to mind: That would also mean that if ButtKicker went ahead with his own crew and later wanted to do a NoDo race representing Dinka, he would have to temporarily join Ganjalo's crew and follow his rules during that time.
Am I wrong in any of this?

Am I wrong in any of this? We (as in my DINKA crew) are currently an independent crew for the time being as the crew has not yet started racing in events and neither has any members to get started. When we get a reasonable number of members in our ranks, then we will get started in racing in NoDo events that are available to us. That is our general idea, Ganjalo and enderofmidnight. However, if there isn't a race available at a specific time and date for our crew to attend, then we will host an small event with vehicles manufactured by DINKA for our crew, as vehicles will be restricted for each race, depending on the distance and layout of the track. These will be our plans until we recruit members and get to racing and then we'll become dependent with NoDo races, just to clear things up in the confusion.
