Welcome to No Do!
As for the rest of the stuff, be who you want to be. Do what makes you happy, watch what you enjoy, etc. It's up to everyone else to accept you for who you are and want to be, not what they want you to be. Be yourself.

Hi and Welcome to NoDo =)
I live by a simple set of rules, i surround myself with ppl whom i respect and that respect me. If your friends can not accept who you truly are, then are they truly your friends? Your family will love you whatever you do, that is what families are for. and finally here on the forums we will never disrespect you, that is in our guidelines and that is a code that i live by.
Nice to see that you finally made an introduction, looking forward to racing you more.

Hello and welcome to NoDo!
Also, everyone else has pretty much covered it. Anyone who's antagonistic to you isn't worth your time, regardless of your gender, race, religion, nationality, sexuality, taste and (to a degree) ideology.
All the things you mentioned in your post do not bother me in the slightest. I wouldn't even think twice about it.

sounds like they force their stereotype preferences down your throat. happens to me frequntly since i watch anime, the way i deal with it is not giving a f.
if your friends don't accept that you like MLP, well, either deal with it or change your so called friends.

Might as well look at a chick( wish gta characters resembled more of a woman!) lol.

Welcome to the crew! I won't bore you with the whole "be yourself" thing because it has been covered several times already, but I will say this. There are several Bronies in this crew so don't think you are the odd one out. Up until very recently I had the stock avatar on the forum and changed it to the Hulk. Last night let rip my inner geek in a Marvel/DC thread on here. It feels good to talk to other like minded people. You'll find the other Bronies very welcoming so just be yourself....ah shit, I wasn't supposed to say that Welcome!

Do what you like, if people don't like it they can hit the road. If people really cared about you, they'd love/like you regardless and shouldn't care. With that being said, you also need to gain more confidence about what you love/like. Stand up for what you believe in, don't waver, and people will respect you for it.

I feel better already since iv started expressing what i love. Iv been going through a faze lately of trying to find out who i am and its paying off! im going to try and not worry so much about people judging me because of the stuff i like, i think i was just trying to please everyone and didnt think how much it was destroying my life. I hope i can be more relaxed and confident around my friends and family in the future. But that is yet to be seen.

Welcome to the crew! We accept you with open arms, my friend. I know your feels as well bro, I had some similar experiences and problems accepting myself back in middle school (2007-2009) and high school (2009-2013). Back in middle school, I was really girly, almost to the point of being a straight up Femboy. I never felt like I was meant to be male and such, plus I liked things that I didn't want others to know about. Even my best friends. I would prefer more "girly things" I allowed some of my friends(girls) to paint my nails, that kind of stuff. They may have suspected something was off about me, but I myself admitted that I was weird (never went into detail about it though). Some of that mindset still carries on with me today, mostly online though as now I'm more introverted and no so great with social contact in the real world. I always prefer to have girl characters on video games, I've faked being female online (to the knowledge of a few NODO's who knew it was really just me being mysel)f, I roleplay as a female (My Little Pony roleplay) and I hide this from people I know irl, especially my parents. I used to draw characters and such which led to my dad questioning whether I was sure of my gender, and I said I know I'm male. It's a true statement of course, as I no longer WANT to be female as much as I did in the past, but it hurt that he asked me that based on just silly drawing I did. A handful of relatives and most of my friends that I had in school know that I love MLP very much, as I have collectibles displayed in my room, have a ton of shirts and accessories, and usually theme wallpapers on it, but they've never judged me out loud on it. However, I don't mind if they ever do say anything about it... Which leads to my next point. A few years ago I wrote a 7 page vent on everything in my life, from my parent's divorce to my whole Femboyish stage. Basically, it ended up with me saying "Fuck it. I don't care what anyone thinks of me, and I won't change because someone says I should. I know who I am, and if other people have something to say about it - let them. It won't bother me, that's their problem." It helped me a lot by going with that mindset. So now I'm more open about myself with what I like, although the I'm still a HUGE introvert. I may have contradicted myself a few times in this mini essay, but oh well. You get my point. Ignore people that want to judge you for who you are, be yourself. Fuck the stereotypes that say you should be a certain way because your male, it's all bullshit. You're different, enjoy that. Also, I'm happy to have another Brony in the crew - Twi
