Heyo guys!I'm fairly new to the racing aspect of GTA, was wondering what you guys think about different Suspensions, Tyres/Wheels, Armor, etc. I know Broughy made a video regarding that, but the people in TS says otherwise. So what are your opinions on the " BEST" customizations? And is there a difference? Thanks in advance for any information/opinon you are able to provide.

Like Broughy said in his video, if you're not super quick with a certain car you won't notice any difference. Chilli's document provides an overview, but you have to test it yourself. Even if some people say that "X,Y" is the best setup, it doesn't mean that you will think the same. My advice: Use whatever setup you like in terms of looks, feeling etc. and race with it. If you get to the point where you consistently hit similar (fast) lap times, you can start thinking about switching up some things. Also keep in mind that a certain setup can be good for one track, but at the same time rather poor on a different one (depending on the car you're using).

You clearly weren't paying attention to the video because he made a solid point I very much agree with; There is no "best" setup for any car (with maybe 1 or 2 rare exceptions) because it's 99% personal preference

Also I put the BEST in bold with the quote cause I wanted to get a general idea of the subject and I didn't literally mean the absolute best. For the Broughy Video quote, I even answered this in my post. "But the people in TS says otherwise"

Didn't notice that he had made a new one and was referring to his old one. My bad. After seeing the entire video, I completely agree with you.

Unfortunately it is dependent upon the car so there is no easy setup. On the elegy for example, I used off-road, but found that it was too restrictive to my turning. I moved to tuner tires which were better, but now I'm experimenting with sport tires which seem to be much more responsive, yet I'm spinning out a little more too at high turning speeds if I try to accelerate out of the turn.
I'm pretty new with trying out new tire types so please correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems that tuners or offroad are best for cars that turn quickly or have a tight turning radius like the Jester Racecar. For cars that understeer or have a large turning radius like the elegy and massacro racecar, sports might be better. I've yet to try sports with the Massacro Racecar, it's currently on tuners.

I've been using CHILLI's document LINKIE! to help me with that one. Some tires change the traction bias. With a few exceptions ("Mecha" from muscle on slippery RWD cars), it is what I use when trying to go for more performance than looks. It has helped me and a friend of mine.
