While this board is definitely geared towards large scale, triple A, million dollar games, I'm sure we all appreciate the smaller games as well. For a long time I've been playing these kind of games, and I was wondering if you guys had any ones you would recommend. I have tried a few, but so far there are very few that really shine. Here's my two recommendations:
In this western action game, you go around as a rancher trying to avenge your fallen family. The world is rich and filled with tonnes of exploration, and best of all the story comes into play throughout all interactions. The reason I say interactions rather than shootings is because there is actually a lot more to the game than just that; you can play cards, explore caves, request jobs from business men and do favours for people around the map, and all of it leads you closer to finding your target. Another shining beacon is the music: it's an entirely original set of tracks that really suits the rundown mood a lot of the map has.

This is actually two games, so I guess it's a double feature. The Last Stand 1 and 2 are fun shooter defense games that come with quite a lot of zombie killing. I actually didn't find these myself, but instead off of YouTube, and since the video I saw is much more entertaining than I, it seem appropriate to just let you guys see for yourselves:
I haven't tried Union City yet, and I don't really want to try Dead Zone, but I'll be damned if 1 and 2 aren't fun and challenging(until you get the chainsaw, then it's just fun). Feel free to give them a try:

So if there are any games you guys like, feel free to leave a link. I'd love to try them out some time.
