Would like to be part of this. Sadly it's at the same time as a [MAIN] + [GCCC] + GTAseriesvideos creator showcase event, scheduled to run every other week. Could I enter as a reserve, please? Would be happy to follow around at the back. (PS3 since launch, recently transferred to PC.) Sure thing! Any preference for which you want to drive? Trophy truck vs desert raid? And the event should only take around an hour or so, depending on how long it takes me to look at screen shots and get everyone into the starting grid. |

I think in the interest of getting everyone in to drive and not penalizing being on a desert raid team, I'll slightly change the scoring so that everyone can drive and still give some semblance of balance to the teams participating. So, the way it will work is like this - if 3 teams have 3 drivers, and the 4th team has only 2 drivers, then only the top 2 drivers of each team will score points for their team. Driver points will be unchanged, so everyone can still compete on an individual level against each other. So what this means is, all of the reserves, if you show up and aren't needed to reserve, you can still race if you want to (so long as your vehicle is painted and liveried properly for one of the teams). If you want to be involved in the photo-ops that I'll be doing in the lobby prior to hosting the qualifying, you'll also need to be wearing the proper outfit for the team. Tags |

I guess I'll go for team vapid colours then Also note that I've swapped over to the Desert Raid, since there's a severe lack of drivers in that vehicle, so there's a spot open as a normal listed driver for Vapid/Be Lucky in the Trophy Truck for photo purposes. |

Pending any issues found by people, the results of the promotional event are in! TeamsThe two trophy truck teams had a very tight battle, taking the same amount of points in the first race and one of the teams barely pulling a head with the second race, giving a clear but close winner to the event - WESTERN MOTORCYCLES / YOUTOOL MOTORSPORTS!DriversOn the podium, in third place we have Benimi. GG! Second place goes to Divait! Congrats! And the drivers' winner for the Stadium SUPER TRUCKS San Andreas Promotional is Grumples_Plox (grimreaper977)! Despite only two races, the points between the top 5 were incredibly close, so great job on getting that gold, grim! Thanks all for coming out and racing today, expect some screen shots coming soon to commemorate one of the most entertaining events I've gotten to take part in. Tags |
