sagrawa Unlike some niche crews (redrumracing) and others, kerbing is very much a part of racing in Nodo, if you don't kerb, you're going to come last in the race. As nico said, we don't take each other out while kerbing, or course if it's "unsafe" to use a certain kerb or something, don't do it, but generally speaking, grab everything you can cos others will and they'll leave you behind if you're hesitant to get them.

Damn this is gonna be a long ass race I wonder how many people are unaware of this lol But I'm up for it, sign me up for the Tyrus. Jahgee There are a few things I would like to mention though.... Not having blue flags at all is a very very very bad idea. I would like to know why you decided this and I hope you'll consider changing it. There doesn't need to be a blue flag when lapping cars of a different GT, but if you're having a battle for the lead you don't want your race to get ruined by a backmarker who is 2.5 minutes behind. I'm sure everyone else who has experience with lapping people will agree with me, so I would recommend you to change it to MCEC rules (blue flags within your own GT, if a GT2 driver gets lapped by a GT1 driver, or vice versa, the lapped driver doesn't have to get out of the way, but is not allowed to actively defend). I'd also recommend you to have a friends only session as the prelobby. That's how we always do it since people can just join themselves. If its an invite only session you can end up having the 'tutorial glitch' and then you won't be able to invite certain people. In a friends only session you can still try to invite people, but you don't have to worry about it as much. I think pit windows are a nice idea, but I'm not sure if the screenshot thing is a good idea. If you record the race you don't even need to stop to take a screenshot. Unless there is a pitman, you can't really check whether people come to a full stop or not. And since the pit lane does not cost you any time at all if you know how to full throttle it, you may as well not have pit stops at all. About the borrowing cars thing, it's not a good idea to have a red flag if an empty car ends up on the track. The gaps between all the drivers wouldn't be the same, and its impossible to make sure everyone gets the message. Some could be in a party, some could have people muted, some could be listening to music, etc. The best thing to do for sarja and bahr27 is to push the car off the track as much as they can while not getting in anyone's way and tell everyone where the car is, or if they're not using a mic, they can message someone with a mic.

Regarding the Friends-Only Session, that is a good idea that I will use instead of the Invite Only. And I guess if NoDo isn't really used to Red Flags then not using them is the way to go, so I'll take your word on it. However, regarding the screenshots, that's requiring the specific screenshots of the car stopped taken via the Share Button is the way to force people to stop, as the screenshot button effectively stops you for ~5 seconds. Also, regarding Blue Flags, I've watched other events do it and it be successful, naturally people tend to blue flag themselves as backmarkers. However, I do want traffic management to be a premium skill this race, given the wide racing surface and near equality of the cars in top speed, and I think no required blue flags will achieve that. Also, regarding the race length, that's what I was going for lol at this point an hour race isn't really an endurance, most people in NoDo have the capability to sit down and race an hour

Sorry you'll have to miss it.

Also, regarding the race length, that's what I was going for lol at this point an hour race isn't really an endurance, most people in NoDo have the capability to sit down and race an hour If only lapping people was so simple Generally overtaking isn't really the problem for the leaders. No offense, but people who get lapped (within their own class) usually are less skilled or not as experienced, there's nothing wrong with that of course. But sometimes this causes incidents simply because of a lack of racecraft. It can be frustrating for the leaders to lose a lot of time because of someone who you're not even competing with. But you're the host so it's your decision I won't complain about it anymore About the share button, there are a couple of different features. For example you can change the settings so you can take a screenshot by simply pressing the button once, without having to go through the Share button menu. This way you don't even have to stop driving. Same thing if you record the race. You can save the footage of the entire 120-minute race without having to stop racing, and then after the race you can simply take 3 screenshots at certain points in the video when you went through the pitlane. Or like you said, you can stop the car, open the menu and take a screenshot. But for all 3 ways the screenshots will look the same.

I guess the share button concern is valid, hopefully people can respect the intent of the rule and actually stop for their pits. I actually took the no blue flags rule from bladecruiser's American Muscle event, having watched it it seems like backmarkers almost instinctively follow blue flag rules out of respect, the no rules being there means that there's less for people to complain about about each other as well as less policing that has to occur. To be honest, even though it is my event I'm expecting to be a backmarker myself, and I intend to let people lapping me if possible without losing much time.
