THE NODO
ROCKET LEAGUE
DOUBLES LEAGUE
still known as NRLL, don't ask why
The second NRLL event, the first one with doubles format. The first one was very useful, as it gave us many ideas for changes.
With changes such as the Swiss system (keep scrolling down for explanation) for group stages, I hope that it will bring everyone back along with some new faces.
This is it. The (almost) ultimate NRLL doubles experience. There's something for everyone. This time, almost everyone should have a good time most of the time. There should be less one sided matches. Each match will be important. Win or lose, you will care (after some changes were made, a bit less now but, most of them!)
Its time to once again crown someone as
The grandchampion of NODO Rocket League.

How to play your match...
Every monday (after this league starts) I will announce the matches.
You have to talk and decide with your opponents on when you want to play your match
...as a host
if you all are on the same platform, invite them to your party
go to 'PLAY ONLINE'
then click 'CREATE PRIVATE MATCH'
set Joinable By: PARTY ONLY
if someone is on another platform, then you will have to set it to NAME/PASSWORD
(make sure to tell everyone the name and password, try using our discord for easier communication)
don't forget about the game settings, don't accidentally make it a 4v4 match with bots
...as a player
if everyone is one the same platform, just wait for a party invite
if someone is on a different platform, do this:
Go to 'PLAY ONLINE'
click 'JOIN PRIVATE MATCH'
type in the name and password of the server
(again, Slack makes this much easier)

The Swiss System
{Spoiler}{Spoiler}
The picture above in the spoiler is ripped from ESL One Cologne 2016. It was used in a CS:GO major featuring 16 teams. It was the first time a CS:GO major used the Swiss format. How much better was it? No idea, however, it should be very good for our purpose.
How it works
Teams always fight against teams that have the same win and loss ratio. Its random which team you will specifically play against, however, they will always have the same win and loss ratio.
This continues until you either reach 3 wins or 3 losses
(some changes were made and you can no longer be eliminated, but you can be at a disadvantage)
How to sign up
You need to be part of NODO. Non-nodo are only allowed if I have 100% trust in you and them
When looking for a teammate, try finding someone who is on the same platform and continent. Good team communication makes match organizing much faster. Having discord helps, get that if you can. You and your teammate don't need to be on the same platform and continent, don't feel forced! I just want things to be easy for you!
If you already have a teammate, please tell me your team name and colour, otherwise I'll give you a boring '*Player 1* and *Player2* name with default as your colour.
Important note
Reserves will only be used if someones teammate decides to leave the tournament.
This will allow the other teammate to stay in the tournament.
