Redwood Racing Announces
Driver Development Program In a press conference outside the Rebel Radio station, Redwood Racing announces the formation of a new driver development program that will begin their first competitive season in the Karin I6 SuperCar Championship Starting June 4th. The team will consist of SAGTC driver FiveDownActual and newcomer Baller. We got a chance to talk with Redwood Racing chief engineer Chip McRoberson III about this new venture from the team.
Chip, how do you feel about your drivers for this season?
Well me and the boys have been working with five for while now, he the kinda driver that's great from a mechanics perspective, he knows the in's and outs of the car almost as well as yours truly, and he ain't 'fraid to get his hands dirty and help out from time to time. As for the new guy Baller, he came at Five's recommendation. The two of 'em have been racing together for a couple years now and seems to work together quite well as a result, Five's been working with him constantly to get him up to speed with this level of competition. Baller him self has proven to have quite a good feel already for this sultan RS chassis, good thing to otherwise id still be trying to figure the damn thing out.
Sounds like you guys had some trouble getting to terms with the new chassis...
Well, Can't say its the platform I'da chosen, would'a preferred if y'all had picked sumthin' with a big block V8 but i guess this'll have to do for now. We'll just gonna have to make the best with what we got.
One Last question, how do you feel about the teams chances going into this season?
Well, we're billing ourselves as a development team, as the first step towards making this team great again. So for now performance isn't too high on anyone's mind. But between you n' me these boys might got a chance to give the big boys a right scare.

Drivers are required to have done one of the following: Attended the Weekday Playlist for 10+ days Attended the Welcome Playlist for 2 days (over 2 weeks)
