** Round 1 - Grotti F1 Yellow Jack - Track Guide Lines **

Welcome drivers to Round 1 of the Communist Karin I6 SuperCar Championship. This will take place at a track well known to veterans of Grotti's Formula 1 Championship hosting Round One of the 2016 season & was the pre-season test circuit for this event.

Track Layout:

The track is a combination of long straights & flowing corners broken up by two very tight double hairpins and a tight final section, caution is advised through the tighter corners, you can get great runs out of these to set-up passes on the long straights after them!

Track Limits:
Area 1 - This is subject to a track extension limit. Drivers are not allowed to put more than two wheels past the white line.


Area 2 - This is subject to a track extension limit. Drivers are not allowed to put more than two wheels past the white line, this applies to both sides of the road!

Area 3 - This is subject to a track extension limit. Drivers are only allowed to use the implemented track extensions and can not go on to the dirt with any part of the car. Exceptions will be made for 1 or 2 slight excursions (one wheel off) but repeated infractions will result in a 10 second time penalty. Continuation after the first penalty will result in an addition 30 second time penalty.


Area 4 - This is subject to an extra rule. Drivers are asked to not weave over the rumble strip on the exit of the turn. Repeated infractions will result in a 10 second time penalty. Continuation after the first penalty will result in an addition 30 second time penalty. Below is an example of what I mean, though much exaggerated.


Entire Track - The track is subject to an extra rule. Drivers are limited to one boost per straight. Boosts that are part of the racing line will not be counted towards this total.

Pit Proceedure:
This track is the only non-stunt track of the season. Drivers will be asked to do a single driver through of the pits being cautious of drivers behind them who have not taken a pit. Incidents that happen at the pit exit will be treated as a dangerous pit exit & will be the fault of the driver exiting the pits!
