Alternative? What do you mean, are we racing dressed as hipsters through Mirror Park? No, don't worry, the Alternative Endurance Championship is where we race GT1s and GT2s at the same time across a circuit over a number of different weeks. The alternative is that we don't just use different cars from different classes, but instead we make up a class within a class! For example, we could have the convertibles within the sports class or the RWD cars inside of the supers class. So, if you want the MCEC experience, but want a bit of a change up, then look no further!
This championship involves 3 races, all with different vehicles with different performances and characteristics. The aim of this championship is to become the winner of your GT over the 3 races, as well as work together with your teammate to secure the winning team too.

Class: Sports (convertibles within the Sports class)
Cars: GT1 - Surano | GT2 - Rapid GT
Restricted Modifications: No OFF-ROAD tyres & No NEON-LIGHTS. You must bring the CONVERTIBLE VERSION. Must have your team's racing colours applied. GT1s must have the Clown Horn applied. GT2s must have the truck horn.

Track: Maze Bank Speedway by Smackz_666 (recreation)
Laps: TBC
Time: Noon
Class: Supers (racecars within the Supers class)
Cars: GT1 - ETR1 | GT2 - Sultan RS
Restricted Modifications: No OFF-ROAD tyres & No NEON-LIGHTS. Must have a RACING LIVERY applied. Must have your team's racing colours applied. GT1s must have the Clown Horn applied.
GT2s must have the truck horn.

Track: Mirror, Signal, Manoeuvre by BlueEyedMalice
Laps: TBC
Time: Noon
Class: Muscles (pickup trucks within the Muscle class)
Cars: GT1 - Picador | GT2 - Rat-Truck
Restricted Modifications: No OFF-ROAD tyres & No NEON-LIGHTS. Must have your team's racing colours applied. GT1s must have the Clown Horn applied.

Start Procedure:
We will order the grid when the race begins. There will be NO formation lap. The GT1s will go 20-30 seconds before the GT2s. We will use grenades to start the race and you will be notified in game chat when roughly the grenade will go, so nobody has any advantage.
Pitting procedure:
There will be 1 mandatory pit-stop in each race. You are required to shoot your car so the pit-stop will actually fix your car if needed.
Pitting in:
If you are planning on pitting and someone is close behind you, let them know in game chat, just so that the person following is aware of your intentions to pit and adjust their positioning accordingly.
Pitting out:
If a driver is going past the pit line while you are exiting, keep off the racing line.

Keep updated with your stating positions and results on the spreadsheet. This is also where you can see the point scoring system.
Blue flag rules DO apply. GT2s are NOT racing the GT1s. If a GT1 approaches a GT2 car then they are required to move out of the way safely. GT1s are recommended to sound there horn to give a clear indication.
I will attempt to make sure all the races are very similar in terms of completion time.
You may not signup mid-championship. All signups must have been in at least 1 NoDo event, or seen in an unorganised PL at some point preferably. Signups close 1 hour before the first week's race.
