One of the most annoying things when lapped: I'm taking normal racing lines, then I follow the racing line to go to the outside, so the higher GTs can just take the inside line, easy overtake right? Well, some just want to speed through the outside line while I'm starting to use it, then at worst they spin me out and lots of accidents happen- Okay well fine, next time I'll just follow the racing line then, try being slightly slower and just keep following the inside line on the straight after a corner so some person doesn't spin me out again. Last time I used racing line to be on the outside, but since people just seem to take their chances at the outside line, I'll just stay on inside so they can overtake me on the outside on the straight. Oh, but now they keep bumping my back because they want to go overtake me using the inside line. Guys I have battles to do. Can the blue flag be just 'No active defending' like in MCEC? I use my horking as a signal. When I'm using it, it means I'm about to give them a great opportunity to pass me. Although I don't always notice the higher GTs (looking at map and behind me makes me lose concentraction) and they seem to honk when they are already passing, which makes me panic brake at times to avoid problems. I didnt really have any issues lapping people (except when Grumples_Plox (grimreaper977) crashed and unluckily collected me aswell). But as youre describing it can also be read as. Sometimes the lapped cars do this sometimes they do that. Its also hard to tell what exactly they will end up doing. If you have trouble doing this maybe use your mic and tell them where to go. Let them know that you see them so they dont have to honk. I honk to let someone know that I'm there before I do an overtake because as you said yourself the lapped car might not be looking at the map. So my advice is simple: communicate.

Uh, you seem to be talking as if I was in a higher GT. Feel like the higher GTs should take the responsibility to communicate because they see the car and they are the ones making moves. Some don't like talking which I understand, so the easiest thing would be for the blue flag to be just 'No active defending'. Slower GTs can take their lines and battle normally and the higher GTs will always know what the lower GTs will be doing. I feel like full moving out of the way blue flags only work in events where everyone has the same car (or same laptimes).

I might've just gotten lucky these two races but I feel like I had zero issues lapping. If someone was inconvenienced beyond whats expected by me lapping them, I atleast didn't notice it. Sometimes I lost time and sometimes the lappee lost time yielding a bit but in the end I think most if not all of the lapping I was involved with were beneficial to both of us

I feel like full moving out of the way blue flags only work in events where everyone has the same car (or same laptimes). I know you aren't in the higher GT. I was trying to explain to you how if feels to be there. Yes they are making the move, but its hard to tell for the higher GTs if they have seen you come up and weather or not they will move out of the way or just take the racing line. That is why you, in the lower GT can help out with that by saying Eg. 'Qlimax I see you coming up, take the inside of the hairpin coming up.' That is why I do when I get lapped and it seems to be beneficial for both myself and the person lapping me. I know its not mandatory and the person lapping a slower GT has to take care and its his fault mostly if theres an incident. Alternatively the guy lapping you could tell you what he is doing. However you can't bet on him doing that so you can take matters into your own hands and make the calls yourself.

I'm pretty happy that the back end of GT3 is pretty balanced. Being still in battles with up to 4 other drivers after 30 minutes of racing is really enjoyfull. Making less mistakes and having the better pit strategy helped me to get 5th in the second race opposed to last in the first race. The speed difference to the better GTs is huge. This means it's even more important to communicate. I am used to look back who is approaching behind me, but the pace difference is so big that it's often just 2 corners between seeing/hearing noone behind to having someone shoot past you as a surprise. If you are in a battle yourself with someone of your own GT, this can get dangerous, if the faster GT driver expects that both slower GT drivers get out of the way for him. Since this is the challenge and fun of multiclass racing, I would prefer the MCEC rules instead of blue flags for everyone regarding lapping of slower GTs. The main reason is GT1 lapping of GT3 starts very early in the race and if you take the full blue flag rules seriously you can't race side-by-side through multiple corners when a faster GT driver is behind you, which is basically every lap after 20 minutes or even earlier. yeah we've had so much battles in the back that was really great

Issues between classes happens in the real world as well
I personally didn't think I caused any issues for the other GTs especially the penumbras. I always made my presence clear to slower cars with the spamming of honko or saying in TS. I do apologise if I did slow down some cars I was lapping.

Just want to mention, it didn't happen much. When it did, there weren't big accidents either. Just a minor annoyance I had in the races and my annoyance with blue flags in general
