THE EPSILON PROGRAM CHAMPIONSHIP OF THE TRUTH QUALIFYINGIt's time to qualify for TEPCOTT now! Go to the qualification form on gtaracing.net and enter your best lap time in any sports car except Elegy RH8. You can submit as many lap times as you like, only your fastest time will be used. Qualifying starts today, August 13th and ends some time between Aug 28th 0:00 UTC and Sept 2nd 23:59 UTC. The exact end date is being kept a secret to prevent participants from holding back their fastest lap time until the last minute. So if you're lucky, then it's still possible to submit a lap time until Sept 2nd, 23:59h UTC, but you should not count on it. Maybe the last chance for submitting your lap time is already on August 28th, 0:00 UTC... The number of divisions is not set in stone yet, and also the number of drivers in each division (may be 15, 16, 17 or even 18). This will be decided after the qualifying period so everyone who submitted lap times will be able to drive. Start your engines, burn some rubber, kiss the apexes and submit your best lap times! KIFFLOM!

Damn... The corner before the tunnel is killing me on every lap. Every car I try just lets go as soon as it hits the hump, struggling to get past a 1:51.

Kim - you DO drive on the little red parking space on the left before the corner, yes?

What is about FPS limits for the actual races btw? I mean for qualifying there is no way to make sure everyone is capping it to 60 anyways but I just thought about that and haven´t found anything about it in the rules. Also let´s see where I will end up with the laptime I got from doing 3 laps.

Not quite, I try go as far left as I can along the road so I carry as much speed through the corner as possible, but if I accelerate for just slightly too long, the whole car just goes. There also seems to be a small drain cover which instantly spins anyone who touches it right along the racing line.

Krizz thanks for mentioning it. The detailed race rules will be online "soon". All in all standard NoDo rules, 60fps cap during the races themselves. For Qualifying the same rules. 60fps. This is as usual a "Gentlemens Agreement".

Yeah, I may pass on this... The track just isn't for me, I feel like I'm wrestling the car just to keep it from sliding and there are way too many blind humps/bumps and posts to hit along the apexes. I think my time is as good as it's going to get, this is just one of those tracks that isn't working for me.

I know, but usually I pick up tracks quite quickly, or at least find my lines, I'm just all over the place here and can't get a feeling for the track at all.
