Nicko7200 Are you expecting more than 16 people to turn up for weeks 8, 9 and 10 of this championship? If not, there's a proposal that I would like to make regarding me (and others if they would like) still participating(ish) in the championship though not being able to turn up for the Tuesday races. If you are expecting 16 people or more, then I won't bother. Please respond.

Nicko7200 I noticed that some people (myself and hotwheelsepic for example) cannot attend the last few weeks rounds because of school/college: the races being on a weekday. I would like to host a race every weekend (which day or time I have not been able to confirm yet) before the subsequent round, where those, like myself, can still compete in the championship though not being able to make the race. These races will use the same tracks, with the same number of laps, the same cars (and restrictions, if necessary, applied), with only a few changes to the actual race format: 1. The race will begin on "go" (though those participating will not be allowed to use the boost at the start). 2. The grid order at the beginning of the race will be the one used (this is a result of "1."). 3. If a pit watcher is available, the same amount of pit stops as the normal race will be used. If there's not one available, there will be no pits stops. (All normal Racing Guidelines and rules will still apply during these races.) The points that the people receive will be based on the number of people that turn up for the Tuesday race. The scoring will be done as normal for the Tuesday race (1st: 45, 2nd: 38, etc.) and then the winner of the weekend race will be placed after the last-placed finisher of the main race, regardless of whether they DNFed or not (9th (last place of Tuesday race): 10, 10th (1st place of weekend race): 8). The rest of the positions will be in the order that the people of the weekend race finished. I can post on this thread the result of the weekend race and then you can add them to the Tuesday race results when you post those results on the thread. Please let me know if you approve of this idea.

Nicko7200 I was thinking of hosting the weekend races on Sundays at the same times as the Tuesday races (that is to say, the race start will be at around 6 pm UTC). Unfortunately, I don't think one this weekend would be possible, as on Saturday there is, of course, MCEC Round 4, and it finishes too late and I expect people will be too worn out to compete. I don't think that it can be on Sunday this week either as it the third round of the Generations World Rallycross Championship, which I am competing in. All this being said, it could be possible that it could be held this week on the Thursday/Friday, and I could notify those that want to compete with a more accurate time closer to. But I think that overall doing one this weekend would not be possible. Please get back to me on whether or not a weekday race would be possible or not this week. Otherwise, I will host the event at a random time this week and post in the Slack chat: "who is available at this time for etc. etc.". I will take whoever shows up and we will run the race and use that for this week's weekend race results to be added onto the Tuesday race results. Please let me know if you approve. P.S. Are you on the Slack chat or on Discord? We could communicate easier by using the direct message function on either application.

I have and I think its a good idea. Also no I'm not on slack or anything else like that Ok cool. The race (for Round 8) will be held on Saturday 2nd August at around 5:00pm (UTC) and will finish at around 5:50pm (UTC). Myself and hotwheelsepic will be competing and even though neither of us are competing in the MCEC, we would still like to the watch the race, which is why the race is relatively early. I will post the results on this thread after the race is over and you can add them to the bottom of Tuesday's race results once you have run that race.
