I would like to nominate my own race, the Daily Globe GP The track is primarily designed to test top speeds, and the ability for the car (and driver) to decelerate quickly and fluidly, whilst gliding through the chicanes. There is a pitlane added which allows the track to be used for endurance races, and contains repair icons for you to use. A track map has been included for you to have a look at! Added. Nominations playlists updated. |

I really enjoy this track and I have it in one of my playlists  We had a race on it the other day with 15 ppl and I got some feedback about the grid. You have 5 lines and that can make the start chaotic. Is it posible for you to change that to two or three lines? I have a track with the same start/finish location and I have not more than three lines I believe. Can't remember if its medium or large grid. Since I always and most NODO's I know race with contact on I always try to make the grids as big as possible. If it's for non-contact I understand the formation. |

Thank you for the kind words, and I think adding a track to a personal playlist is the greatest honor a person can give a track, so thank you very much for that as well, the track is meant for contact, and I wasn't really thinking when I made the grid. My entire gta experience has been on the xbox 360 pretty much, and so I usually had only like 4 or 5 people on it at once, so it was never a problem. Now that I think about it, that many people on the start is not a great idea, and I'll be sure to change it when I get a chance. Thanks for the feedback |

I really like these playlists and the way we create them. But, we have more and more tracks every month, and by April or May, we may have 30 to 40 tracks. I doubt that people would test 30 to 40 tracks and pick the best 5.
So, how about removing the tracks that receive less than 3 votes after two consecutive months ?

We got 14 new nominations this month and I think it will be the all time high. 30 tracks would indeed be too high but it will decrease from 25 to 20 when 5 get voted in for April. The risk of getting tracks with 0 votes is even higher with 25 tracks so it might be less. The real problem is the turn over of tracks, I don't want it to be to high as people won't bother to test new tracks. Many of the tracks are already known, so no need to test them again. I expect the number of new track nominations to be around 6 next month. I have made 2 playlists with only new nominations to make it easier: socialclub.rockstargames.com/games/gtav/playlists/playlist/yMDRMpCe806rVGRSW5S1cQsocialclub.rockstargames.com/games/gtav/playlists/playlist/Pgo5T4njRk-QAN9RX9T2CgI will put a rule to remove tracks with only 1 vote for 2 months for now. If the list increases too much I will increase the number of votes required to stay in. This may look like something that will decrease the number of tracks but it can also increase the turn over of tracks if creators then nominate another of their tracks. Perfectly good tracks can easily get less than 3 votes pushing creators to nominate another track that may not be better than the first one. I trust creators to nominate what they think is their best track. |
