General Update 3Finishing ProcedureThis season we will move to a new finishing procedure for the races which is more in line with real life endurance racing. After the GT 14 leader has crossed the line to win the race, the race is deemed to be over and everyone still racing is on their final lap, meaning everyone who crosses the line after the GT 14 leader has then finished their own race despite what the lap count says. Once GT 25 and GT3 cars (and any lapped GT 14s) have crossed the line after the GT 14 leader you must stop further down the road before the first corner and park up in the order in which you finished, nose to tail. The pit watcher and/or the spectator will be at the finish line to record the final race times that everyone finishes and to be sure of the order. Once everyone has finished GT 25 drivers will continue to drive around in order to start the race timer. This all means that each race will last the same amount of time for each GT, everyone has a defined finishing point (ie. not a DNF timer) and it helps to alleviate potential problems with invisible walls. Invisible WallsThis has been an issue for a while and it is not confirmed what causes it. Theories are spectators, DCs or simply at random when people finish the race, but essentially it could be the case that an invisible wall spawns somewhere on the track after the leaders finish. The above finishing procedure will help alleviate this (all players may have passed the location of the invisible prop on their final lap when it spawns for example) but if there is an instance where an invisible wall spawns and affects the race a red flag will be declared and the finishing positions taken at that point. Video evidence of this would be helpful so keep things recording. This is likely to only happen at the end of the race and may not happen at all, but it's good to have a procedure in place in case this bug does appear at any stage. These are 2 updates of the main MCEC. Do these apply for the secondary championship as well? FriendlyBaron Pitstops surely not, since we only do 1. |

I can reserve for anybody. Anyway, akaJayJohn is second on the list of reserves and I remember he talked about hoping someone else will drop so he can reserve too. Thought you were reserving for me? , who will reserve for who now? Like i said, i was the first one to ask for a reserve driver so i should theoreticly get martindurin as my reserve in r1. I would take any reserve tho. I just want to make sure that i get a reserve driver. |

Thought you were reserving for me? , who will reserve for who now? Like i said, i was the first one to ask for a reserve driver so i should theoreticly get martindurin as my reserve in r1. I would take any reserve tho. I just want to make sure that i get a reserve driver. Look at Baron's spreadsheet on the previous page. It lists everyone in the order they requested reserves. I'd speak to him if you think you were first and get it changed. |

Yes if others are streaming I'll do multi-cam shots during the stream. For main championship races the videos will be out when they're done. It's a lot of work so no ETA. There won't be videos for secondary championship. It's just too much to do. Doesn't seem like there are a lot of streamers in gt4. I guess I could set up a stream if people are interested. But I figure it will be boring watching me drive 2 minutes ahead of everyone else Kappa. Whoops sorry I can't set up a stream because my Shadowplay has no internet connection since I blocked that to prevent it from auto updating to the abomination that is GeForce Experience v3. My bad. |

I think the reserve list I have now is correct. I missed mike's somehow, thanks for pointing it out. The reason it's done this way is that if enough reserves don't show, the people who asked first are given the reserves who did show up. I will show up today to reserve. I will buy and upgrade the Bullet now. Someone has to tell me the team colors later, since I'm not invested as much in this event, that I'm willing to figure out the order of reserve requests and reserve drivers myself. :P
I'm not interested in the full-time spot.
