Hi Guys, I am not one of the listed reserve drivers but was wondering if I could still step in as there seem to be quite a lot of people that need reserves for today and only one reserve driver raised his hand so far. As many people here won't know me, I just want to be transparent about my driving skills which might then help to decide whether I can step in and which GT I should step in - I consider to myself to be in the "NODO middle class". By that I mean that I would finish somewhere in the mid field when participating in the daily playlist, e.g. finishing on average 10th -15th position in a 30ppl race. -I don't middrive/short shift/brake boost, as I never practiced it If I am worthy to step in, then I guess it would rather be GT 5 (assuming that the faster guys are in GT 4). While I would have no problem with coming in last, I would probably not enjoy such a long race if I was only way behind everbody without any battles thorughout the race. Waiting for your judgement now. The sooner the better so that I could still practice. Edit: FriendlyBaron |

I've thought of this for a little while, and now I have made the decision. I will be dropping out of this event. I'll be honest and won't come with an excuse. It's just that I'm not really interested in driving these 90 minute races anymore. I did some laps to practise for the next race and I just did not feel like racing it for such a long time, at all. I then checked the next tracks + cars and I thought: "meh". Sorry to my teammates. Thanks for the race on olympicGP. That one was fun. FriendlyBaron |

For me it was the first event and it was a blast! 90% of the time, I had a great battle with lodus (@nommasch)! GG, man! |

No problem, didn't affect the race outcome for me as it didn't damage me, and I didn't have the consistency to catch esquz anyway. I didn't practice night laps and that's what really screwed me! Pretty much a glorified hotlap session after he got past. Was interesting watching the timing screen while it was still daytime, the split times barely changed at all and esquz and I were locked about 3 seconds apart. Whether that was testament to our relative pace or the track being a bit easy, I'll leave that for you all to decide lol. Oh well, gg, well driven and hopefully LSGP is a bit more exciting.  Edit: detectivesalmon , I like how you got the crash between esquz and myself in the background there too, that along with Dogda's footage was pretty much the only "highlight" I had worth watching! |
