It would appear the general consensus is to randomize the teams. pollUsing random.org these are my results. EDIT: The poll was changed to allow for more freedom on the subject of teams. We also have another poll to determine if we will be using pit teams. goo.gl/8j7b7T |

Just FYI for teams - it's best to not be as regimented as the main championship due to the usually high turnover of the secondary championship and the drop-in drop-out style of the event. It should be a case of two people teaming up if they want to but I'd recommend against assigning all 14 drivers from each GT to have to make a specific team. Just re-iterating this^ |

And because people also already voted for randomizing them and you did that already then I think we're good with your list. The only thing that still botheres me is if we can't do smth like platform crossing teams though as people already told me they would like to try this. Otherwise we just stay with this selection. |

Since the initial signup for the secondary didn't include teams, If you don't want to be on a team, please post so here (again) or contact me in a PM and I will not put you on a team. In a few days, I will assign everyone else a teammate with a new random generation. It will be 2 GT1 and 2 GT2 per team if the numbers work out, otherwise it will be normal 2 person teams. I think a better way to do it would be have everyone who wants to be on a team come forward. Like I've said a few times there will be some people who don't show and are less active, so it's easier to see who those are going to be and only have those who are on teams be those who are going to do all, or most, rounds. The more laid back nature of the championship and the dropin/out style is the reason teams aren't an official thing. I just want to make sure you aren't doing unnecessary work by pairing people together where one party isn't going to show anyway, when people could have joined up as a team independently. |
