 Information & Rules Track: Sandy Speedway 1984Race Length: 57 laps, given that we've seen lap times around 1:20 for GT2, the race won't take more than 80 minutes Conduct & General Rules: Don't be an asshole, we're all just trying to have a fun race with these two great cars. That being said, incidents are bound to happen, don't take them personally. Read up on the NoDo Racing Guidelines, but note that there are no blue flags, you are encouraged to make life as easy or as difficult for those lapping you as you want, but remember your results are only calculated in comparison to those driving the same car as you Pre-Lobby: At 20:00 UTC, I will create an Friends Only pre-lobby, you are free to join whenever during this half hour as long as you are in before 20:30. Try to join the pre-lobby to make my life easier when it comes to inviting you to the race. Event Date/Time & Duration: August 19th, the race will start as close to 20:30 as possible, and will take around an hour for GT1 to finish Maximum Entrants: 15 Cheetah Classic drivers, 14 other Torero drivers (including myself) Time/Weather: Set to Current for the race, if Weather is brought back by Rockstar for stunt races in time for the event. If not there's nothing we can do, we'll be stuck with Clear Car Restrictions: Modifications wise, no restrictions except for Stock Wheels being required on both cars, keep in mind the theme of this event though when designing your car Starting Procedure: GT2 will grid in front of GT1 in order to maximize overtaking opportunities during the race. GT2 will start at a time determined by myself in the race lobby after the field is gridded, and GT1 will start 30 seconds after GT2 in order to space out the track initially. The grid order will be randomized and posted at 20:30 the day before the event, at that point anyone who signs up will be put at the back of their respective GT grid Drivers: Event Scoring: Unlike MCEC, the races official results will be based on the results screen shown after the DNF timer, so continue to race as long as possible |

Alright, we've made it out of Event Submissions forum purgatory and you guys can hopefully sign up. Having driven these cars around this track, it'll be a fun race for sure, as part of the difficulty that GT2 but especially GT1 will face will be holding down these cars at their speeds on this track, which is simultaneously cramped but wide enough to have flow

Damn, I wish it was on the calendar, would make knowing when it is to avoid scheduling things on it easier I can probably move this to a Friday at this time, and it'll be done before the Weekly Endurance Race, maybe from the 19th to the 18th |

Damn, why isn't that on the calendar then, would make knowing when it is to avoid scheduling things on it easier I can probably move this to a Friday at this time, and it'll be done before the Weekly Endurance Race, maybe from the 19th to the 18th I don't know, poor judgement from certain commissioners  You could probably host this during the BWER time slot too, I'm sure Brady wouldn't mind not hosting BWER that week, you can just ask him  |

If not it's fine I can easily keep it in it's current time but moved to Friday and it'll be done before the BWER. But if so I can also length the race to fill out the timeslot longer if you'd want |

Jahgee I hit a 1:20:3 in the torero Yeah I've gotten down to consistent 1:25's but I've never considered myself on the pace for these events lol EDIT: Just got a 1:22.3 in my test session today, so who knows maybe come raceday I'll actually be on pace for one of my events lol |
