Fun fact: For 11,4 hours or 684 minutes the gap between me and lodus (@nommasch) never exceeded 20 seconds. (except from the 1 hour gap between our 2nd pits, however for that 1 hour the gap was kept around 5 minutes and 10 seconds the whole time)
Thanks to our battle and all the lovely people who showed up in my stream I was being able to stay awake
Would definitely do it again...if the pits are extended...and the car change...and the blisters on my fingers are gone ^-^
May ask to borrow the brother in laws pc if another one ever happens

Thank you Serenniel (but also like seriously fuck you) for being insane enough to host this. Thanks also to those of you that kept us taking part somewhat mentally awake throughout - whether that be by popping into stream chats or even discord.
GG to everybody that started the race with the intention to finish and an extended GG to those who made it to the end or close to the end (also Randochi and yahtc, you guys got seriously unlucky; that sucks).
I don't really have much more to say beyond that. The entire race is kind of a blur when I try to remember back (probably my brain self-applying bleach...) and then I took a super-mega long sleep after it was done. I'll just end on a thank you to Serenniel, all those who stuck around to provide support, and please don't ever tempt me with a race like this again. Please. I'm not sure my health would take it...
I have to stress it because it really made me mad. 23:53:48 if thats the real length of the race. I was 28 minutes away from finishing with yall (obviously not with 96 laps but as a true DNF). If it wasn't for that www.twitch.tv/videos/268654475?t=23h54m28s I would have been with yall. I actually started crying because of it. It was so unfair.
That prolly goes the same with several other people. RIP Teloh and that power failure.
Because of that fake service failure, I will be signing up for the next one. Let it be a year from now, please. I loved all the support from the community. I've never experienced anything as supportive as this event. I love you people!

Two nights later and I'm still only barely figuring out my thoughts about this. But I do know that this event was not at all what I expected. I fully expected to disconnect halfway through. I expected it to be a chore of half-assed driving and choking after a few hours. I expected not to care about pace and to extend the pitstops to something like 10-15 minutes. And finally, I fully intended this to be the last thing I do in this game before I put it down for good.
But somehow the servers didn't let us down, Countach kept me pushing up until 18 hours into the race in that incredible battle which made me not want to lose any more time than necessary in the pits, and it has sparked my interest to play this game anew instead of making me not want to play it ever again.
So thank's to everyone in the race and the people who joined the discord throughout the race, it was a great experience. The only negatives I can think of are my sleep schedule being completely hecked up and my hands being two stiff clumps of pain by the end. I think in a few months I'm up for something like this again.
It puts a smile on my face seeing how the ppl who made it [almost] through got to know the actual feeling behind a 24h race and that it's not just a casual endurance race, no matter which role you played in the event.
