Just to save you the testing a custom SUV Mesa cannot be used, for whatever reason. Sweet jesus. The off roads class is ridiculous Tell me about it. Some of the vehicle classifications/race classifications are all over the place.

Watched one of the videos on how to find the Mariachi. It shows up as a Declasse Tornado, Sports Classics in the lower right corner, so the official classification should be Sports Classics. Finding one and testing is of course the best proof we can get, but it's a good indication it should be usable as a Sports Classics car atleast.

Indeed, I've just got one (on new-gen, for that matter), and can confirm that the "custom" version of the mariachi Tornado can be used in Sports Classics races. It cannot be used in Off-Road races, even though the "stock" version can be used. Since you can't put any upgrades on the custom version, there shouldn't be any difference between the stock and custom versions. You can change the colour of the stock version, at least.
