UPDATE: Purge is now complete. We went down to 300 members. Crew is now open to all again. If you are reading this after being kicked and have no idea why then I have no sympathy really - this has been very well documented in my crew details video and posted multiple times on the crew page. You're of course welcome to rejoin.
As most of you should know by now every time the crew hits 1000 members we clear everyone out and start again to keep the most active members in at all times. This happened for the first time on 2nd December where we dropped to 128 members, and 26 days later we hit 1000 again. Then on 12th January we went down to 241 members, and it took us just 14 days to hit 1000 this time.
Anyway, the details of the purge can be seen in the community guidelines post with more info on the reasons behind why this was introduced in this video. If you're reading this and you aren't a crew rep or higher (2 bars or more on the crew tag), regardless of how active you are in game or on the forums, then you will be kicked on the date of the next purge.
However it's very easy to be promoted to crew rep by following all the instructions here (including posting in that thread). Once you do that and you're promoted you won't be kicked when the next purge comes along. If you do get kicked don't worry though, all you have to do is simply re-join as the crew remains open to all. It took almost a month to fill up last time so as long as you're quick enough you'll be able to get back in if you're not the forum type.
If you're waiting to get into the crew - not long to go now
The date for the next purge is Monday 16th February. Again I won't be making a video but myself and others will be spreading the link to this post on the crew page regularly.
Also to those who are active in the crew and posting regularly - if you see anyone asking questions about why they were kicked after this happens please link them to this post. There's only so much we can do beforehand but hopefully people are aware of the situation by now given I've covered it in a video and all over the place on this forum. And if there's anyone you know who you talk to regularly who doesn't know about this make sure to link it to them.
