Awsuuummmm!! Wish they'd announce Fallout 4 already... Me too. It's probably what will make me move to next gen, though it will also likely find me not playing GTA Online as often.

I exhausted Fallout 3 back in 2009 and haven't played it since, lol.
Definitely my favorite though even if I have more hours in Skyrim...

Definitely my favorite though even if I have more hours in Skyrim... I'm pretty much the same, though I go all the way back to the first Fallout (and then Fallout 2) on pc, which I started playing back around 2000. New Vegas was pretty good too; a lot more ties to FO1 &2, and I didn't experience a lot of the bugs that other people did. I played through Fallout 3 in every way I could think of, but I still think I logged more hours in Skyrim too... Maybe only four play-throughs?

I've gone 3 throughout Skyrim, I've tried going for a fourth but the game isn't as fun on consoles compared to PC because of the lack of mods it seems

Skyrim ruined my life a couple of years ago. One of the best games ever IMO. I lost my job and bought Skyrim in the same week. Lets just say I didnt get another job for a long time!
I like Fallout, I just havent gotten right into it like Skyrim.

Played both, never beat both. Fallout got boring, Skyrim I kept restarting because I could never decide on my character. They kept turning into uber heroes that could do anything.
But I liked Skyrim better. I like medieval fantasy more than post-apocalyptic settings.

But I liked Skyrim better. I like medieval fantasy more than post-apocalyptic settings. Thats the point of the Elder Scrolls games. You always begin as a prisoner and work your way up to become a great champion of the region you are in. If you want your character to be a jack of 1 trade and still be effective you have to choose to stop leveling at some point. I cant remember how Skyrims levels work but in Oblivion you MUST sleep to level up so you can effectively choose to stop leveling at any point in the game. This is important because not only does your character not become an OP Sword, bow and magic wielder all at once but the enemies and loot is leveled so the game should remain equally difficult no matter your level. The idea is that the game only gets harder or easier if you change the difficulty slider. So the problem a lot of people run into is exactly what you are describing. They level up until their character is maxed and by that time the game has run out of leveled monsters to add so it just gives the normal enemies obscene amounts of HP. Dread Zombies were the worst as I remember it. No one is particular hard to kill, especially since you basically cant die at this point but my lord do they take ages to die. With my best character in Oblivion it got to the point where I essentially had to run through the Oblivion gates and forego all fights or spend an eternity locked in battle with Clanfear and Dremora Lords. Tl;dr There are 2 types of Elder Scrolls players. Those who create gods and those who make the game into a true RPG.

i soo fucking love the dualcasting of skyrim but as a mage with 100 enchanting it gets pretty OP with stagger. altough i like it for lightning storm as it act like a medieval minigun against dragons, really statisfying. (i rebought the game for PC and PS3 honestly sucks now in compairison)

My maxed out Oblivion character had spell stacking setup so I could cast max range and damage on all my area effects. Its a lot of fun to get a good 10-15 guards behind you and then turn around and hit them with the nuke made of magic lulz

Fallout Wins, he will use his 'Death Ray' on you if you disagree. Seriously, I enjoyed Fallout a bit more, as the combined time in New Vegas and Capital Wastelands is probably equal to my time in Skyrim and Cyrodiil. That has a lot to do with me loving Mad Max and A Boy and His Dog styled worlds over fantasy by a smidge.
