Ok, this is ridiculous, we need to postpone today's race. R4C3RJK99 Ser Tandur, what do you guys think? PS3 time should be at 9PM UTC if we're doing it today. Only 4 out of the 11 have submitted their qualification times, so to start the race in 1 hour would be pretty funny. There's a previous event at 8pm.. Personally I did not submit my qualify because I had not so much time to practice this week, and not having a precise time for the start, I wasn't sure the all time if I could actually make it or not. However is just not good to don't have a confirmed time for the start on the same race day. I'll submit my qualify asap but I'm not sure I can make it for tonight. Anyway something has to be improved for sure, but I still hope this competition can start smoothly and then go on. |

R4C3RJK99 what I would suggest is doing blaine county 24Hrs in 1 weeks time. This way, you can tag everybody participating to tell them when and where the race and qualifying is. You would also have time to fully arrange tracks, pit watchers, etc. Plus you could arrange assignments of roles for who hosts the races on each console, and so on.

For everybody on the PC side of this event. Todays race will happen. Start will be around 7pm GMT+1, invites around 6.50pm (usual daily playlist time). Wait for invites from pyro.

For PS3's race time, 3 P.M. UTC looks like it work better, as it looks like less of you would have to drop out.

Amazing. So I went and checked all the other tracks, here are the track issues I noticed (all of them on 360): (360) Blaine County 24H does not have a pit stop. ( Xiphactin) (360) Bay City Street Circuit still has KERS boosts on it. ( R4C3RJK99) (360) Pacific Highway still has KERS boosts on it. ( R4C3RJK99) (360) Overflod Raceway does not have a pit stop. ( Frostmoar) (360) Vinewood Hell GP does not have a pit stop. <--- Good luck getting Shaggy to update this. Highly unlikely. Recommend this get pushed back another week, mostly because of the BC24H issue, the teams are a bit of a mess (are we supposed to have 2 per team on a console? Is 1 per team ok? IDK) TBH, R4C3RJK99, if you can't be a bit more active and respond more quickly to issues like the above in a timely fashion, I will also pull out. I'm not interested in running someone else's event (again). 1 team per team is fine, as the teams are more of a gimmick. I'm also in favor of pushing the back another week, PS3's race time is still yet to be decided, not all people have qualified, and we still don't have enough pit watchers. Now for @ohthatdezign's question, I guess we'll have to cancel pit stops altogether or someone/I might be able to watch from Twitch if anyone's streaming. What's the word on Vinewood Hell GP? Since I'm 99% sure you won't get Shaggy to put a pit lane on it, should we use it in the event? I ask because I'm about 35% done in the next-gen remake of it for XB1, and if we're not going to use it, I'll keep it on the backburner to be finished later. Also, I think you may have missed a few posts early on, a lot were not happy with French Grand Prix' pit location. Can you talk to brandon to have it moved, then I'll make a new video of it? Or we can use another track. |
