Ok so I've been in the creator the last couple of hours making something a little different to the normal thing you see on these forums. It's a drift park in the dockyard, sort of inspired by DiRT 3/Gymkhana. There's lots of long drift sections, ramp podiums etc. It holds 8 players and is obviously meant as a fun break from racing more than anything else. I tried to get a video but it's incredibly hard to get a clean run through every obstacle with out crashing (I'm not great at drifting) so there won't be a spotlight update until that happens! Anyway feed back would be greatly appreciated, and if you guys like it I might make some more! TRACK LINK |

Some feedback: The chicane in the picture was a bit tight I think, maybe move the whole right part of it to the back and right to allow more space. The cattle feeder at the exit was sticking out so if you go a little wide in the chicane you stops there. Maybe just remove it?
The hospitale part was ok but scary. The corner into it is fast, blind and narrow.
I really enjoyed the track, it had good layout, cp's and props. Good length and good variations of roads.

Yes thanks for trying it out, I had the same thought about the first one I'll see what I can do! Sadly the second one is how it is due to it's environment, I might be able to make it slightly wider but not sure. I have changed a the checkpoint there so instead of being one it's now two, hopefully that indicates the 'line' into the last corner as I saw on the first few laps a couple of people weren't sure where to go! |

Thread Update!Ok so quite a few changes today which are as follows!One of the things I've been trying to do for a while is make a track with a decent chicane in, but for a long time struggled to find appropriate place to put them. Upon finding a suitable location and making the track layout I happened to stubble upon another one and everything just started clicking together! I've changed quite a few bits and pieces after some feedback. Both chicanes are now wider, hopefully this will reduce incidents, I've also placed concrete barriers in the Hospital tunnel in the hope players going in towards the tunnel blind will have a little more faith there isn't a roadblock waiting for you! As always any feedback is welcome, enjoy! - Clear out - I've deleted quite a few tracks as I didn't feel they were up to the standard they should be
- New 'Real Racing' Playlist added - Real Racing IV
- Added 'Credits' to each race in the playlists section - Felt it was important to name check people! If you think the same names keep popping up, it isn't my fault these people make top quality tracks!
- Adding Videos to all events - Currently in the process of recording lap videos for all my races, hopefully I'll get it all done this week!

Good first post. Very clear and informative. You have some strong playlists there too and thanks for using some of my tracks
Will have a go later tonight with Olympic Sprint. Looks safer with the barriers into the hospital now. Maybe also secure the lap post on the left side after cp 21.

Thank you for making those tracks, always good quality stuff! Yes I played the track an hour or so ago and noticed the same lamp post, I'll have to ration some props from somewhere! |

Ok so small update, I'm going to remove 'Quarrelsome' from the list, I've been trying to change it for ages so that I'm happy with it, but since shaggy made a track basically the same I don't see the point in it being here anymore! Can I also ask some of you to check out a RallyX track I've just made, it's very short as it should be (40sec lap), I'm not sure if it's too bumpy? TRACK LINK |

Thread Update!New track(s) time! I've been trying to make a good Rally X track for a while now but couldn't really find a location I like until I started looking around the Redwood Lights race track, so I made one! and then I made 3 more!
The first one is the shortest track, it's pretty much on the 0.62 mile limit and takes 40 seconds to do a lap, the joker lap adds +5 to the lap as well so hopefully this will give some close battles!
Every time the number goes up (I, II, III, VI) the track gets larger, the joker lap is pretty much the same on all of these tracks (it's slightly longer on VI) and all of the tracks can hold 1-20 players!
I also thought I'd attempt to make a MotoX course using the same 'stadium/start' section and I think it actually turned out quite well, but let me know what you think!

I've also made two playlists with all the tracks, one with the MotoX track and one without depending on if you enjoy bikes or not!

I will now be keeping the record laps on certain tracks (see OP for the tracks with records), all the tracks have had no lap times set apart from Olympic Sprint, so it's open season at the moment!
When posting your lap record please post either a screenshot or video as proof!

Also updated the spotlight with 2 tracks! One proper race track, the other is just a bit of fun.

I'm away for a few days so I won't be online but if anyone gets bored and they don't have anything better to do I'd like any comments on these 3, I regularly make layouts and delete them soon after unless I'm happy with it but I quite liked these ones! There's no props or anything it's just CP's so don't go in expecting anything major! link - very fast track with a very long full throttle section link - much the same as the first one link - A few members have made tracks that are really small and simple and I've been trying to make one similar, not really found a place I'm fully happy to make one but this was just something I through together! |
