UPDATE FOR ALL COMPETITORS after not even one week, I already see 11 competitors (I will take one of the last free slots) I was not really expecting this Today I had a walkthrough of the race with a psn friend of mine, off-road lover IRL. It was actually the very first test race on the definitive version, as the last I did was the one inside the creator necessary to publish it. We have found a couple of points to be adjusted. The track is not going to change route, I just have to displace few props and CP in the Stab City section and on the highway after the querry nothing that cannot be fixed If anyone has not raced the track so much, we could do a one lap show off one of these days if you wish, just to collect reactions and suggestions in real time. Maybe also explain the concept behind the design of the track. |

The sanchez is awful in the swamp. Keeps nearly cutting out in the water so the rider keeps dismounting! Haha

It takes enough speed to ford, and you get that speed only by keeping the wheels out of the water. Crossing water has to be done also in the narrowst points, which is where I tried to keep the line between CPs. Read the ground, just like in the downhill for 4W vehicles. This is the navigation aspect that identifies the race. Extra tip: on bikes will be essential to be consistant and avoid crashes because some CPs are very far away one to another, and we know well, bikes provides no protection. I wish we'll have at least 3 bikers in the event |

I may switch to sanchez, We have too much Mesas that I didn't anticipate at all :S

We have found a couple of points to be adjusted.. - under the bridge at Stab City: added one more truck trailer to avoid cutting, added two yellow signs to show the right way under the bridge - on the highway after the querry: moved two checkpoints to guide the way in and out the of the querry further editings: - NO RAMP: useless. No staggered start, no ramp. Start and finish will be between CP 68 and the Start/Finish line. - Mount Chilliad Tunnel Bridge hard breaking: the red and white tyre lines has been replaced with a simple right arrow bale. It makes you stop if you miss the breaking point, without having the vehicle get stucked. - Querry: few more low barriers to avoid confusion and pointless cutting (the fastest line to leave the querry is the one I designed) - Grapeseed Alamo East Shore: added one big trailer and some other hot dogs/snacks stalls in a alternated arrangement, to prevent the driver using both left and right lane of the road. The next CP is on the Alamo shore to the right, using that tarmac would mean invade the spectators zone.. |

Had another test run with my wife and RandomPerson101 yesterday, where we used a Blazer. Proved to be more fun to us than in a Mesa, so afterall I'd like to switch to the Blazer.

Had another test run with my wife and RandomPerson101 yesterday, where we used a Blazer. Proved to be more fun to us than in a Mesa, so afterall I'd like to switch to the Blazer. The change has been made, #305 retired now you got assigned the #201 Good choice!! Sure is the more technical vehicle to drive, because has all the lacks of a bike and all the lacks of a 4 wheels vehicle. Just like IRL We might be direct opponent in the race, if someone volunteers for beeing the marshal. |
