Congratulations to everyone. It's a shame our team won only because we didn't have any disconnections, but hopefully we can try our luck again sometime and see the real fastest racing team hit the podium. In celebration, our team decided to finally do our team photos, so while I apologise for the lateness, at least they're here now. Presenting the winners of the inaugural PS3 LSGP endurance race (by a technicality, but who's counting?): alfislegend, CantDrive55Andy, and nfsshadow, team YouTool!

Twilicane and Doodle finishing the race at almost exactly the same time. There was a rain on PS3 though. Shit, I think Doodle needs some recognition! So fast! And congrats to all the winners! Very true!

Watching the stream of the xbox race and the question of how I lost that massive lead came up. Heres what happened.
Marzir(massacro) messed up in the chicane at one point after I had caught up to him and I had to stop or run him over causing a crash. I chose to slow down like a sensible racer. However it cost me about 2 seconds of my lead. Then I got cocky and thought I can pass him and started pushing the coquette way too hard instead of doing what had been working. Later I hit Twi coming out of the tunnel (completely my own fault)and missed the CP too and then I ended up spinning out as I came to the cross section by the tunnel later on that same lap and Haydug made a good pass shortly after. I was right there with him until again I got hit coming out of the tunnel by Ph33nx.
Its just the nature of the track and multiclass racing that this happened so frequently. My inexperience showed particularly when I tried to push too hard to catch Marzir but there is nothing I could really do about the accidents except when I hit Twi but this race definitely taught me that I should stick to consistent laps instead of pushing it when in the lead and to be more aware of my map by the tunnel.
Again great race but I thought Id clear that up since that part of the race wasnt covered in the livestream really and looking at how big of a lead I had I thought Id explain how such a big lead can be lost so quickly in an endurance race. Very fun and I learned a little bit more about myself as a racer.

Great race everybody. I got so far behind malice because he managed to catch up and pass me again. To make up ground I tried to cut a corner and ended up missing a checkpoint then just decided to respawn. Still i'm good with second place. I was thinking that I would finish behind all the coquettes lol.

It was a great race yesterday, I had a lot of fun. It was nice to see, that even on such a technical and rather short track like LSGP (contrary to north loop) a full field has enough space to run and lap for almost an hour without having a giant clusterfuck. Well, in the second half of the race I grew more and more unconcentrated and I tried to relax my hands on the controller, which resulted in some minor crashs. I hope I didn't ruin anyone's race with that, if so, I am really sorry. It was a great experience having participated as a driver, but I guess from what I have witnessed, watching the stream was also pretty entertaining. It is a pity, though, that both of my teammates, chrisde22 and delirious807 got disconnected, as they are really competitive racers who would have bagged big points in their respective class. That's a shame, R* / PS3. Anyway, great racing, guys, thank you!

He was caught up in a pileup at the beginning, but in no time was on my tail and even ahead for large sections. I'd have loved to compete against him the whole track, but I guess R* had something else in mind.
