Good thing you are taking charge of this event ovivo ! Thank you and thanks pyro, cleanup, fiyah, chilli for your involvement. Madderose and I should chose a team today. Here are a few suggestions in the meantime : - Will you include a link to the RSC for the tracks in the OP later on ? Here are a few I could retrieve from consoles event thread : F1 Vinewood GP, Rattlesnake GP, Overflod Raceway (not GP, I guess they are not the same). I also have doubts about the You Tool 3 Way track, isn't there a crossroad at some point (more a merging actually than a crossroad) ? I can't remember correctly. - Yesterday, we proceeded to forming the grid, then formation lap, then forming a grid again for a standing start. This is nice but to be fair the first corner ruins it all, as everyone have to brake hard and give space to others, which makes all the qualification efforts kinda useless. Have you considered other starts ? What are your thoughts ? #1- Nice of you to include those few links... I'm sure ovivoJR will update the thread with most of all the track links soon. #2- I'll help and fill in when needed, and I'm always up for compiling the videos into one for the events, just need people's footage in the future. #3- I placed the sticky bombs wrong yesterday so the back of the pack got a better start than the front and caused a bit of a bunch in the first corner. Fixing this and possibly allowing more space between cars may fix this problem. I think looking into a rolling start if this doesn't fix the problem could be a possibility. P.S. Sorry first time starting a race. It will only get smoother I promise. #4- Hopefully we will get to test some more before our first official race. Update the OP with a Standings table and a new section for reserve drivers. Also added the links to the tracks that are in the calender at the moment. There might be some changes to it so please don´t pin me on the one at the moment. |

I wont make the first 27/6 race. I'll look for a reserve. Sure no worry. I also want to encourage the set racers to form teams of 2 people to fill up those team spots. We will have a vote for the most creative team and for the best looking car somewhat into the season. So go ahead and find your sponsor company.  Me and cloudmcshort are still in a team together. ovivoJR I am going to be filling in for @hiberg in the first race, since he will be unable to race. Might want to see if someone else will be the fill in safety car.

Any ideas of what the last couple could be yet? No i don´t know which tracks we will race at the moment. Prime is working on Circuit of the Americas. And Ganjalo is thinking about doing a Monaco track. But we will see. still some time to decide on those. If we get more real F1 tracks then i might go ahaed and kick out some of the GTA tracks. |
