Official Grotti F1 News:
Refering to the poll everybody participated in I am announcing that the Monaco Grand Prix will officially be held this weekend July 18th.
We have 15 out of 18 racers (83%) that will compete. This is more than enought to not cancel the race due to the stuttering issues. Reserve drivers will be RapTor_X_ for Oh_Darn (Richard Majestics) and suzied for fab. ICEMAN (Tequi-la-la). @hiberg and The_Bad_Loser have not announced a reserve for the race till this moment. If you two find a racer that will race for you on saturday let me know as soon as possible.
I will decide if we will change the rule of current time for the Grand Prix of Monaco to night time as a set time of the day, b/c some racers mentioned that the stuttering will be better during nighttime. We need to test this after the qualifying if you have time.

1st Qualifying-Session was a success. See you tomorrow for the 2nd session.
We also decided that the race will be held at night-time only. This is due to less stuttering for most of the drivers.

I'm deeply sorry to announce that I will withdraw from the Monaco GP on Saturday. I got invited to a BBQ with friends. I have to especially apologize to @pezby and Oh_Darn since they invited me to their Richard Majestics Racing Team as a reserve driver. I already recolored my Turismo to their team colors... Sorry also to ovivoJR Organizing an event where participants back out lately is always frustating. I hope the race will take place anyway. I always hate myself if I had to break my word and back out of already made decisions, but real-life activities should have higher priority at least for me. Otherwise I would be blocked for months with all these events we have on schedule here at NoDo. Saturday evening events are always problematic, because it's most likely then to have rather short -dated real-life activities showing up. Participating in mid-week events would be way more reliable from my side, but timezone issues would exclude other drivers from participating in these events. |

I would like to take up fab. ICEMAN's position in Tequila-la-la if that is possible. Thanks suzied for going up as a reserve for Tequi-la-la, welcome to the team! Do you take free drinks at the club as payment for driving for us? (Don't drink and drive.)Also just for a clarification for the car colours, its black + dew yellow + bright blue. Or maybe Ultra blue, I don't know, its the only car I have blue rims on lol. I'm looking forward to my first event with you guys All that time doing the dishes at Tequi-la-la has paid off! |
