I enjoyed this event, Turismo R, not so much. I just can't drive that car good and it basically frustrates me to drive it (hence me quitting halfway through the last race). Thank you ovivoJR , meetmypyro and .fiyah for organizing the event and fab. ICEMAN for hanging onto third place for the team even with my shitty Turismo driving dragging us down. Hope there's a next season, though I'd have to say I'll be selling the Turismo. Its definitely not the car for me. Did you try all setup of wings & rims & suspension? It's a very good car to learn to drive efficiently and is able to carry a lot of speed in the corners, when you find the right setup for you. My raw footage:

This explains a lot to me how you were so fast at this track. That mid-drive speedboost at the last hairpin is genius. And the stock suspension with the curb friendliest tyres and a sneaky line are good stuff. You definately thought this one out.

That mid-drive speedboost at the last hairpin is genius. I was doing the same thing there, just not not always consistent with my lines being all over the place where I hadn't practiced. I urge everyone to have a go at getting at least somewhat familiar with the mid-drive speed boost, in some cars (particularly those with RWD), it's quite easy to pull off. It might seem very awkward to do at first (at least for me it was), but you will pick it up eventually.

Let me showcase the 2 best laps, from Arken and myself, side by side.
Thank you Ovivo for your comment.

ovivoJR, let me know when this needs to be moved to completed. Is there the possibility to get the thread back out of completed if there is a 2nd season? B/c I don´t want to write everything again.

Yeah, or you could just go copy/paste it when the time comes. You still have access to the board, and it will still be your post and thread. It'll just be moved. Whatever you want to do.

My footage for Flyin' High is uploading. Pretty boring race indeed! I had almost no battles, every time there was a tense situation it ended up in me or the other driver choking. So it was more a one hour hotlap session than an intense and action-packed race like Cluck'in Bell but, on that point, all our finishing positions are ordered by best lap time ( i.imgur.com/H3TGR1m.jpg) which is pretty neat! Except for Superstepa_ and I :p I was quite lucky about stealing that 6th position, almost lost it at the last chicane by the way! :p About the Grotti F1 Championship as a whole : huge thanks to everyone who participated, raced, reserved, organised, spectated, hosted... this event! I had a great time with you all. I loved how serious this championship was, almost religious as nobody was talking on TS during the races! It was a great place to learn and I definitely improved since that first test race on Blaine County 24H :p It was very competitive but the athmosphere was always good, there was no misplaced competition, and everyone showed great sportmanship in the races, that's awesome. I think it's my first ever online competition and I'm definitely looking forward to participate in the next season if my schedule allows me to, see if I can do better!

ovivoJR I'm going to move this into completed now. When you start up the second season, go back to this post, "edit" the OP, switch to BBCode, then copy/paste it into the new thread you'll need to make in event submissions and make whatever changes you wish to it. Technically season 2 will be a separate event so it will need a new thread, just as the MCEC did. When you make it, tag me and I'll approve it immediately.
