Right, so there are four tracks I see an issue with at the moment. Two don't have pits and two (funnily enough both created by none other than R4C3RJK99) have KERS. Now the problem with the absence of a pit lane is perfectly obvious, but what's not so obvious is the problems related to the KERS system in GTA. For one, the boost system in GTA operates nothing like real-life KERS. And then there's the problem of people accidently activating it and causing accidents. Not to mention that simply picking up the boost is a problem in the first place, with some people having to swerve off the racing line or even miss it altogether. There is a poll to decide whether those two tracks should be removed from the calendar. If the poll decides that KERS should be removed, then this week's race will be cancelled, and a playlist will be held instead to decide what tracks should replace those two tracks, as well as the pitlane-less races, and the non-championship Blaine County 24h.

Jackimo, if you could please spot these faults earlier so that we can have time to compensate, not the day before the race. The rest of us noticed this fault with Bay City Street Circuit, and FuZioNxSHaDoWzZ has kindly remade the track for us to race today. Not to mention that some racers might not even consider it a fault.

Well if you are really that worked up about criticism, why host the event! Because nobody else was, and it's fun. Simple as that. Now, KERS will only be removed if it is voted unanimously that the change should happen. If nobody objects we will use Fuzion's version of the track. If not, we'll continue with the original plan. Next week I'll host a playlist to replace the remaining faulty tracks, regardless of today's outcome.

My opinion would be to use FuZioN`s track today as this championship still belongs to R4C3RJK99 and the rules state that there would be no use of KERS in any of the tracks. When R4C3RJK99 put up a poll when he first organised the event asking whether or not to use KERS in any of the tracks, it was voted "No" by a sizeable margin. As for all of the other races with faults, we can just remake them instead of using different tracks as these tracks will be running across all consoles.

This is no longer linked to the other consoles. This is my event and your opinion is not the most important one. Blaine County 24h has to be replaced regardless and we might as well replace the others while we're at it, unless the original creator makes a pit lane. R4C3RJK99 is no longer here and his word is irrelevant.

1 How could you say that my opinion is the not most important as this was voted by EVERYBODY in the original thread. If you asked EVERYBODYS OPINION you would know that you putting up a poll about whether or not to use KERS would be pointless as it has already been established, just trying to save you time. 2 This event still belongs to R4C3RJK99. The only reason the event has split up into separate consoles is to take weight off of his shoulders. 3 Why not recreate the tracks that have problems. That way, people are still playing the tracks that they voted for originally. 4 Your telling me that my opinion is not the only one that is valid when you are making decisions based on what YOU think is best, not what everybody has already decided. The reason R4C3RJK99 began the thread so early was to get feedback from THE COMMUNITY and everybody is happy with the times, tracks, cars as these have already been voted upon in the original thread. The community voted on these things, so you changing them would just cause arguments, like it is now. Just take into consideration other peoples opinions as what I am trying to say comes from the community, not from myself!

The event wasn't split up to "take the weight off his shoulders". It was so that somebody was actually running it. Your words are just that. Yours. I asked the community about this problem, not you. Stop speaking for them. If the creator modifies a given track to fit the parameters of the series then by all means, they can do that, and we will use those tracks. But things like adding pit lanes cannot be done by anyone that didn't create the original. To remove KERS would be to change the event, which, as you said would cause arguments.

I have to agree with dezign. The event was originally R4C3RJK99 event so the rules and tracks should not change. Even though some of the races may have faults, many people such as fusion shadows have recreated these tracks so they have pit stops and they are faultless. The races that R4C chose should stay in the event. Blaine county was a great race last week, however there weren't enough people to actually do the event which is why we should postpone the Blaine county Race till next week. You have to understand that the event is not yours and actually other people's opinions do matter as it is us who have made this event what it is. Although you now run the event, it does not give you power to change the rules, because if that happens then unfortunately, many of us will Leave the event. Deciding which race we should race on the day is poor organisation and then you go and critsize all of us because we don't like how the event is not running smoothly. If you want this to be a good event, you also have to follow the rules and you have to understand that the community has to have there say and our say is the most important.

I am part of the community, and I am speaking for the community as I am in the party with half of the racers in this championship. The fact that you have the cheek to say that R4C3RJK99s opinion is irrelevant when it was him who put all the effort into the event, him that organised the event to benefit the community, him who's rules are present in "your" op, the tracks that HE DECIDED WITH THE COMMUNITY that you want to change for YOUR BENEFIT AND YOURS ONLY! I know that I signed up to a formula 1 event that had tracks that EVERYBODY voted for, and you cannot say that I am speaking for myself when the rest of the people in the event has the same opinion. I am not being part of an event that has the rules set up for the HOSTS benefit, regardless of what the community thinks as that is not the event that I signed up to. I QUIT!
