We have got to figure out a better and more efficient way of doing this event. This is nothing on you Jackimo, the plan seems like it should work. Start the qualifying restart the race go into the race, do a formation lap, get in the grid, someone on the front row throw a grenade, easy as that. The problem of course is the turismo glitch and that puts us off of getting into the grid faster. An idea for this is to have a set amount of time to get rid of the glitch. Say maybe 10 minutes or so or do 2 formation laps or something. Also maybe making sure everyone knows the starting order and pit windows before we even get in the race just so we don't have to re read it over and over. Just get in the race wait 10 minutes or whatever then say leader/pole guy start the grid we start in 1 minute. It would feel soooo much cleaner imo and a lot more organized. Idk I feel we just gotta figure out something to make this work better. |

(all times in 24 hour UTC time) 1500- Qualifying lobby starts 1505- Qualifying starts 1530- Enter race Formation lap(s) (depending on length of track) 1540- Race starts 1625- Race ends and Jackimo makes a coffee 1700- Military Battle event starts. If anybody misses the deadlines set out here, they just wouldn't race (or qualify).

It was beyond infuriating to be told I just had to race with a broken car and being treated like it was my fault the race hadnt started because I wanted to get rid of a glitch. I ended up racing for 2 laps with the suspension glitch before it went away and by that time I might as well have not even qualified because I was in 13th place, dead last. The amount of time I made up on design indicated that if I would have had a non-glitched turismo I would have probably beat him or at the very least been battling him for first. Sidenote: the pitlane for overflod isnt very good. I spoke with Opal and hes actually going to be changing it for the main version of his track. My suggestion was either to use the parking garage on turn 1 or this  Id probably use the first route you see rather than going through the hospital but either would work better and you exit the track MUCH smoother this way. |

I thought frostmoars track was the one we are using... Idek who opal is. But either way frostmoars pits are a bit sketchy too. I have changed the pit location on The original Overflod Raceway but Frotmoar is free to do whatever he wants. rsg.ms/db730c4Pit entry:  Pit exit:  Taking the left lane when not going through the pits should avoid some problems with cars going out of the pits |

In saying that, there are usually 3-5 people that can't make it and don't bother finding a reserve, so we could sign up more people with the expectation that we will be short on race day. Trowa, Ser Tandur what do you think? Also, Frostmoar would you be able to make the suggested modifications to Overflod Raceway? Otherwise the pits will just have to stay as they are, that is, if I'm honest, horrible. I could try to recreate the track to meet our standards, with Opal's permission, of course, but that would probably end badly, since I have no experience recreating tracks. |
