I am curious on how do you guys do with this ? Is it healthy racecraft-wise ? I mean, how are the tires ? Do they get a puncture, wear off ? Can you do pit-lane tactics ? How is the lag ? Can your engine fail or your suspension get broken ? Or do you need to force third-party rules that you create like we do on gtao ? I am just curious since I am really interested in races close to real-life experience on simulators Shame I can't afford a ps4 currently. Otherwise I'd have loved to be there with you

Put it this way fox4flame, I lose my wheels....a lot. So far, every qualifying session and race I have lost at least one wheel . In terms of racecraft, it is incredibly healthy. Generally, the people signed up to this are motorsport fanatics, so we have a pretty deep understanding of racecraft. When you compare that to the majority of the crew (particularly the GTA side) it is a much deeper understanding. There are bugs in the game that we kind of just have to put up with until they are patched. For example, in yesterdays race I made a pitstop to change tyres and refuel only to find that my pit crew hadn't changed my tyres even though I told them too. I don't think tyres can get punctures in this game but they definitely do wear down. We have that rate set to 4x real time meaning after 8ish laps (depends on the track and tyre compound) you really need to change tyres or you lose too much time. You can change the damage settings as well, so you can have full damage including mechanical failures or you can switch it to visual only or no damage at all. It's definitely the closest you can get on console at the moment but it does still have it's bugs and issues that are very slowly getting patched.

For those who want to determine fuel strategies, the race at Silverstone GP will be 18 laps.

I've come to the decision to cancel the Formula B championship after discussing it with most of the remaining participants.
Right now hosting the event is more effort than it's worth because of the low attendence. Racing against 3 sometimes 2 other people isn't worth anyone's time and can hardly be called a championship. Maybe somewhere in the future if/when project cars is more popular within the nodo community there could be a second season of Formula B racing.
A thank you to everyone who has devoted their time to try and make this event a success, it is very much appreciated.
