Bit of information about this!

We have been testing tracks and the actual race type, and let's discuss the results.

Partner and Role picking is extremely important. We have not yet found out how the games decides this, but this was what happened:

-6 people, players A, B, C, D, E, F.
-Players A and B picked each other, with different roles (E.g.:A was driver, B Co-driver)
-Players C and D picked each other, with the same roles (Both had Co-Driver)
-Players E and F picked other players. E picked A, F picked someone else other than E, both with driver roles?

The results were quite interesting.

-Players A and B had the correct partner and role
-Players C and D got the co-driver role and E and F as their drivers, respectively

After driving around a bit, player F DCed and his partner (D) couldn't drive his car. Player D tried to respawn, got infinite black screen with loading, someone killed him and he was able to respawn, still couldn't use his DCed partner's car, he could, however, use an active player's car.

Players C and E were in the same car, but they switched seats, and the co-driver was driving the car. Co-driver respawned, both had infinite black screen, this time it couldn't be fixed. Their car existed, but it was invisible and indestructible, and the drivers couldn't be killed as well.

Happily we have a lot of time to test these kinds of things, more results to come

Conclusion: DCs and respawning can be a big problem, respawning can be easily avoided (no killing as well), but DCs are another thing.

So basically, don't respawn. Use the pits provided.

If your partner DC's you're fucked, gtfo otherwise black screen of eternity.

Cool. My fingers are crossed.

In case a DC happens it does mean your team is dead.

BUT, this is a game, right? There's always a way around

There are many repeated cars, and there will be most certainly at least one team with the required car.
We can simply call a yellow flag, give that player a car so he can continue in race. (In case we can get him off the black screen)
For the "driver switch" the driver can simply wait inside the car the same amount of time it takes to do a switch (around 5 seconds).

Oh, also something some people may not know.
To do the switch, only who's currently driving has to exit the car and enter the passenger seat. Who was previously sitting as a passenger will automatically jump into the driver's seat.
