As explained in more detail here we will at times kick everyone from the crew to refresh the members and make sure we don't have inactive players. To avoid being kicked during these purges you need to be promoted to crew representative.
You need to do all the following things to be promoted to representative in the crew. They're all super easy. Just read and do each step in turn.
1) Read the NoDo Community Guidelines post.
2) Create a thread to introduce yourself here.
3) Add your social club name (and optionally PSN ID/Xbox GT/Steam) to your forum profile
~(Profile>Edit Profile>Personal) Click here for tutorial
4) Make sure your R* social club/Xbox Gamertag (Linked Accounts) visibility is set to "friends and crews" or "everyone".
~(Settings>Privacy)
5) Make sure your R* social club profile visibility is set to "friends and crews" or "everyone".
~(Settings>Privacy) Click here for tutorial for steps 4+5
(You can change the privacy settings for step 4 and 5 back to anything else after being promoted)
6) Join the crew. Do not post here until you have joined the crew. If it is full, wait until after a purge and join.
7) In this thread that you are reading now, post a LINK to your R* social club profile, and a LINK to your intro thread. (See the example below).
8) Be patient. We'll get to promoting you eventually.
If you haven't done any of the above correctly we'll let you know here. So if it takes too long, check this thread for updates! If a Commissioner likes your post in this thread, it means you were promoted.
9) If you change your crew due to a console/platform change re-post in the relevant topic so we can re-promote you.
10) If you need re-promoted for any other reason (like a Representative Purge), just post your same links again with the reason why.
Once you've done all that it will be checked and you'll then receive your promotion to crew rep. This will ensure you won't be kicked during one of our purges as long as you stay active (again more info on the Guidelines post). More overall involvement and following the guidelines is then the way to progress any further (more info below).
