Stick to your guns thinkdave . Youre probably right, most will join you from Welcome Playlist as they know you already. Run 2 playlists if need be. Theres plenty of members around to have separate playlists. |

A cool race you guys might not know about. The Isle of Man TT is running this week and the next. It's a crazy motorbike road race set on a small island somewhere between Great Britain and Ireland. These guys are the craziest riders I heard of, fearless throttle-twisters. One lap is 60 km, and the fastest lap record is 17 minutes, for an average 210 km/h, passing through small cities, twisty and bumpy country roads, and wide mountain roads. It's very, very dangerous and in the 96 editions of the race, 141 competitors died (!!). Basically it's rally for bikes. So much preperation goes into remembering each and every corner, bump, tree of the track, and there's no copilot to guide you. Here's the promotion trailer if you need something to help your procrastinate. Less sensational but more impressive, here's a full lap with the fastest guy on the track, and for you car-guys, here's a full lap with commentary in a Subaru. |
