Was about to get into some road racing, before I tore my rotator cuff and real life happened with work, etc. I'm taking a break from all riding for the moment, but hope to get back on it really soon.

Used to be somewhat serious into motorcycle rallys, or track days.
It was cut short due to a bad, bad crash. lucky to be alive.
Lesson: never race with guy who just can be quick without any racecraft. Especially on a bike.

Though it is by no means professional, i race my M3 in autocross just about every other weekend March through November. I can keep pace with my competitors even though most of them have 2006 or newer cars and mine is 1997. just took 4th overall in the SCCA Texas region solo.

I'm gonna do a thread necromancy! I never karted, over protective parents as a child, too heavy as a adult lol. But, on and off since 1996 I've competed in club level track days, hill climbs (favorite <3 ) and navigated in rally for a bit. I'm currently building a Nissan N14 Pulsar SSS (B13 Sentra or Sunny, depending on where you come from), of course with the factory fitted SR20 for this years season, but my most recent weapon, now retired to running to the shops was a Daihatsu Handivan (of all things) And the new one on the way. Sorting the chassis first, as it already has 4 x the power of the Handi lol. Just inserted a set of BC coilovers

I use to motocross as a hobby, but irl stuff gets in the way as you get older. One day though, if I were to come across and fair amount of money, I want to build a TCR car out of a Golf or an Audi TT

So I finally got that Pulsar out on Baskerville (my local track) for a practice day. Other that hillclimb that used a portion of it that I posted the video above to, it's the first time I'd been around it for 15 years. So such rusty and new car, but was pleased with the results at the end of the day. I was running 1.11's with a clear track, which is a pb by 3 seconds from days of old.
First outing, following my friend Josie in her Daihatsu Mira TRXX:
Later run, when I sorted my shift and braking points and was more certain of what the car was going to do.

I wish I could but all I could race on is an oval track and that’s the only track within 100 miles that I could race on, so I just choose not as I wouldn’t enjoy it
