Can't wait to watch the highlight videos you will make of this ovivoJR , and possibly people's stream of the race. Just a question though, why use offroad tires as the base tire? Why not use custom Tuner tires as they look more authentic to race tires and can also be easily distinguished as Tuners over other tires? Yeah I answered this question somewhere earlier in this thread. Currently F1 is driving 13" balloon tyres. In 2017 they will most likely start with 18" rims. Then we can go with tuners again  |

Do you want me to use this for the introduction? If I can't get what I have planned working - since for some reason the mods it requires aren't working - and doompenguin is okay with it then yeah. I'll let you know if that's the case I think I still have the video files for it if you'd want them |

Grotti F1 Announcment
Hey guys,
2 weeks to go till our first race for the season. I am getting excited to get the competition going. Thank you for your cooperation with the introduction video. Only team I haven´t had a response about the video is SPRUNK Racing. Would be great if we find some time to get the last shots recorded.
I also updated the main post with a regulation about curb-boosting. Basically the same as last season. Check that out please!
Prutoog I need to talk to you about 2 sections on Yellow Jack were I would like to move the curbs a bit because they are not on the racing line. Hit me up on steam or ts if you are online.
endersai and Oh_Darn don´t forget the Cloud Sports interview today at 9pm UTC.
Welcome to kasumi as a reserve driver.

Grotti F1 Information
Hey guys,
want to give you a final update on the upcoming things for this event. First and foremost I think the introduction was a success. Have had some very enthusiastic feedback about that. Thx again to the people involved.
Secondly I talked to Prutoog about some minor changes of some of the curbs on Grotti F1 Yellow Jack. We optimised the curbs at the turn next to the pitstop. We also got rid of the curbs leading towards the first double hairpin and moved them to the 180° turn after the bridge. The changes won´t effect the racing line. The just prevent cars from going into the dirt to much.
We have 10 days to go until the qualifying on January 21st (make screenshots of your best laptimes in case you can´t make it to qualifying and sent them in a pm to our qualifying official Oh_Darn , remember that you can only submit 1 screenshot. The first screenshot that is sent to darn will be counted as you quali time. If you get a better time afterwards that will not be approved).
In these 10 days I will release another video on my channel that will give some inside looks on the preparation for Yellow Jack. endersai has invited Oh_Darn and myself to his CLOUD SPORTS race preview. We will have a look at the upcoming track and talk about the start of the season.
Talking about the start of the season I want to remember everybody that has the ability to capture race footage to check if everything is set up for the first race. I will make a highlights video for the race in style of the season 1 videos. So whoever wants to be featured in the video is very welcome to provide me with their footage. DrKloden and meetmypyro will be our official cameramen. It would be great if somebody could provide Kloden with their second account so he can use the trainer to spawn a helicopter or a blimp. Let me know if you can help out with that. I would also appreciate some tips how we can share the racefootage. If somebody has some knowledge about sharing large files pm me or post here.
Make yourself comfortable with the rules for the races. We won´t have time to explain them in detail on raceday. If you have any questions ask me in ts per pm or on thursday during qualifying. If somebody needs a reserve driver ask the people that have signed up to be one. They will be happy to help you out.
I hope I haven´t forgotten anything.
I wish everybody some good days to practice and I will see you on the track.
