Seriously. If I wasn't streaming, I would've quit.

Safety car got called out, ended up doing nothing but ruining my race. The issues with the poles were still there after the safety car. That shit also completely disrupted the flow I was in. I had 5th in the pocket. I was 15 seconds seconds ahead of the guy behind me. But instead of ending up 5th, I finished outside of the fucking points. Thanks a lot for that. FUCKING GREAT.

With the wisdom of hindsight, i probably should have let off the gas in this instance...

2016 Grotti F1 World Championship - Monaco Results

Third victory for arken this season

arken once again showed that he is the man to beat this season. With his third victory in the fourth race he earned himself another 25 points. Starting from 6th position he showed great consistency in the right moments. " I am very satisfied with my race. I wasn´t on pace at yesterdays qualifying. But today the car was feeling better and I could fight for the lead. Once my teammate had some problems with loosing one of his gears I could go into first and keep that position till the finish."
His teammate Madderose was battling for the lead with Scuderia Grotti driver ovivoJR for almost the whole race. After the 2nd pitstop a safety car had to be called out which equalized the grid. The reason for the safety was a tecpro barrier laying on the exit of the Pool Chicane. Track marshalls reinstalled the barrier and the race was open again for the last few laps. In these laps a group of four drivers pulled away from the rest of the grid. _ShediM_ , arken , Madderose and ovivoJR showed some great racing over the last couple of laps. Madderose already looked like the safe winner of the race as in lap 45 his 4th gear broke while he went into turn one, allowing arken to go into first position. Behind him the other three drivers had a close battle but Madderose soon had to let off with his broken car to not also loose 4th positin. "What unn disappointmééént for our téam. Wé cuuud have finished in 1st and 2nd. I again failed to gét a podium finish!" quoted Madderose .
A victim of the safety car was Richard Majestics driver Oh_Darn . He had a secured 5th position before the safety car was deployed but only finished in 13th: "Fuck my life. Fuck the poles. Fuck this race. Fuck this track. Fuck that fucking safetycar that ended up ruining my race. Fuck everything."
In third position _ShediM_ finished behind ovivoJR . They both had a close battle for the last two laps:" I am glad as hell. hat race was really something. I made a huge comeback, really proud of myself making a comeback in such a troublesome race. Overall the first half was really succesful for me. I wasnt expecting to keep up with the top racers really."
In the team standings Progen is far ahead of the Scuderia Grotti with 25 points. Dinka Motorsports is now in 3rd position.

Race Report

Was a great race guys. Really enjoyed the close battle with the Progen guys and Shedi. Never more than 10s apart. The safety car was a necessary call. I hesitated for a few laps but to many drivers were experiencing the issue with the pole directly after the pit chicane. There are always drivers who profit from this and drivers who have a disadvantage. But in the end everybody had the same chance to gain or loose positions after the safety car came in. Also the lightpole was not dropping after the safety car anymore. So in my opinion it was the right call. Everybody is free to disagree with that decision but we cannot change it anymore.

Do you remember last season Cluckin Bell where I was leading 5/6 of the race with a huge gap and got 4th or 5th because of a glitching lightpole? I know how you feel. In the end it was our fault for making mistakes and losing positions, so shake yourself and heads up mate!
