So anyone got ideas for the theme of the next meet? Here's a few: 1. Mad Max. Grungey, dirty-looking trucks, muscle cars and that kind of thing, insane mod, ratty paint jobs. . + appropriate clothes    2. 80s. Yes, I did this for Wrecksplosions but I love it and would love to see it again. 80s cars or anything with that appearance, movie references, appropriate paint jobs, Outrun, Miami Vice etc. Ruiners, Blista Compacts, Infernuses, black Comets etc. + appropriate clothes    3. Extremely ugly cars and paint jobs. Again, I did this for another event of my own (The Fast and the Hideous) but this time they don't have to be just fast cars. We're looking for really ugly ones with hideous paint jobs and wheels.    4. Business executives. Benefactor (Mercedes), Obey (Audi), Übermacht (BMW) etc the kinds of cars, you see a suited businessman or Wall Street banker driving and are usually silver, black, dark blue, or grey.    |

I sort of feel like Rob has thought this through because all of his ideas are awesome. Not that I'm against a JDM meet-up, but you know, 80s! *keytar solo*
However, as much as I like the Mad Max meet, I'm wondering how many cars in the game really fit that bill. Could be worth trying, though.
Also, speaking of Mad Max and Miami Vice, we could attempt movie/TV show replicas. Might be hard, but with some creativity and fancy outfits, could work.

+1 for Soccer mom and 80s meets. I have lots of ideas I just havent gotten around to hosting yet, here are a couple. Utility meet - coveralls and work wear, utility vehicles Career meet - Police officers, pilots, marines, race car drivers etc Pop Culture meet - Dress as different characters from pop culture (games/tv/movies etc) with matching cars (Dukes of Hazard, characters from previous GTA games, etc) Gang meet - Outfits and cars to match the various gangs in LS BMX meet - travel to the various skate parks in the city on bikes, do stunts etc Large vehicle meet - Buses, 18 wheelers, limos etc Bike Life meet - A video is really the best way to see what I mean www.youtube.com/watch?v=aHphcJmwkcAScavenger hunt - no idea how this would work but something I've always wanted to do. |

I like these ideas, but would like to say:
Gang meet: Why restrict to just LS gangs? There's been so many classic gangs in the GTA series with their own specific car. Would add a lot more options.
As for "large vehicle" meet, BMX, and Bike: Could work, but without the ability to modify those vehicles, the actual meet itself would be lackluster and be based more on events, rather than showing off our vehicles. Again, not against the idea, but it just isn't what I think of when I think of the Monthly Meet.
(Dear Rockstar, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can we own and modify big rigs?? PLEASE??)
By the way, I'm signing up for the next meet, whatever it is.

Bike Life is something I've come across in the past, never really had a chance to suggest it! Haven't had something like that, would be pretty cool. Really dig Driftin's Mad Max idea though! Sanchez bikes, Injections - not sure if we could really have a wide range of vehicles though, sort of run out of cars that fit the theme  Few ideas of mine: 1) Not sure if this has been done before but I posted in the past about a Military Meet. Tanks, Insurgents, Technical etc - military uniform. Would be pretty cool IMO. 2) Cycles/Fitness meet - not sure if there is the necessary clothing in the game for this, but racing bicycles - bike cruise to Mount Chilliad (the top) chill a bit, then take some hiking routes. Something like that, had a plan for it a while back. 3) Plane/Helicopter meet - it has been mooted before BUT put aside due to concerns about people behaving themselves, maybe it might work this time? |

I have a general idea for a plane meet that I've been working on. Spent 3 years as admin and flight planner for a flight simulator community so I have quite a bit of experience organizing plane meets, and is something I am very much interested in doing! I wasnt sure how interested a car community would be in a plane meet so I haven't put much time into it, but if thats something that interests people I'd love to volunteer to help organize it!
