AjAxel10 when are the prelobbies usually? Also when is the main mcec round 8 on Ps4 happening as I can reserve for that two Broughy1322 Round 8 is tomorrow, I don't think any reserve slots are currently open through, since you would be put in GT3 and Berto has Horstdrmol. I don't think your odds are great to get in tbh, GT3 has used most of their reserve drivers. |

You could sign up as a reserve in the main championship thread, but the chance you'll get a spot is very very small. The prelobby for this championship is at 17:45 PM UK time. Qualifiers start at 18:00. All the info (about times and modification restrictions) is in the Spreadsheet |

GG Everyone. What a tough race that was. Never driven so hard in my life for a 2nd place. Great battle for most of the race with Hizzen which was a lot of fun. I was never going to be able to hold off KDawgHonda777 as he normally laps a good few seconds a lap faster than me. I led for about 500 yards  . Well done on his championship win. Well done to ged_1a and AjAxle for a thrilling GT5 Championship that could not have been closer. you both deserved the win. Wish my internet had been good for the first 2 rounds but that's online gaming for you. |

GG everyone! And congrats to KDawgHonda777 and mountainged for winning! Thanks a lot for hosting Broughy1322 , it's been a very fun championship. I really enjoyed yesterday's race. Even though the voltic is so easy to drive, it was still fun. Broughy1322 One thing though, I don't think it's fair the way blowntyre was treated. As one of the drivers, I fully agree with his opinion, and I think he should be able to express it without getting called out like that. (and he wasn't the only one, many people in the chat agreed with him) I am very impressed by Zearxy's performance, racing for an hour straight isn't easy if you're not a racer and she has improved a lot compared to her qualifying lap time, but you have to admit, it was a mistake to let her join. "People asked for it", but drivers in the championship certainly did not. Yes it's a fun event, and everyone can join, but not if it ruins the experience for other drivers. People are still looking for a competitive race and try to get a good result. For example, cwilson's race got completely ruined while he was hunting down 2nd place, but then he ends up finishing 6th. Like Will said, this competitive environment is just not suitable for her. Summing up, to avoid misinterpretations: I think it was great for Zearxy to try it out and it's very nice of her that she shows interest in what we do and it was great to see her improving over the course of the race. But, Will should be able to express his opinion (which was certainly not irrational) and not get treated like that. Anyway, thanks again for hosting MCEC Broughy, I've enjoyed all of it (even with my unfortunate DC's  ). People aren't showing enough appreciation for your hard work, so I thought I'd try |

Broughy1322 Thanks for organising the Secondary Championship, it was good event to participate in. Yeah, was a great championship! Wish I would have been there for the first round as well though. The main chamionship races were too long for me, not cramp or anything but I just fell my concentration go down to almost zero the last lap during the Voltic race. This was perfect! Couldn't find the way to paste two quote's.  With Zearxy joining I was expecting her to be slower. But I had a very bad first lap and saw her coming from behind so to make sure she has room not hit me I went wide on purpose and what happens? Then a few laps later I was right behind her to lap her, what she decided to do? Park her car on the middle off the apex making me rear end her! Well, I gotta say though. She improved a lot after that! I think I lapped her one time or twice after that without any problems whatsoever. Broughy1322 Could you update the championship table? I want to find out where I eventually finished. |

Just watched the clip i saved from the race. Got very lucky when Thell_46 DC'ed during my battle with Hizzen . I first pass his car which then drives down the road and i only just manage to get through on the inside whilst overtaking a GT5 car. Also a short clip of my battle with Hizzen. This summed up the 30 minutes of the race. Was so much fun. |
