CROWEX PRESENTS: THE 24 HEURES du BLAINE COUNTY MASTER'S EVENT
What: A one-off race for sports classics.
Where: Broughy1322's Blaine County 24hr track
When: 27 March 2016 at 9pm UTC (Easter Sunday)
Laps: 20
Pitstops: 3 mandatory + as required
Weather: Clear (because DEAR GOD these cars are not meant to race in the wet)
Time of day: Current (because yellow headlights, and it's a "24hr" race duh)
Cars: The event is aiming for a 1950s and 1960s feel, so the following are excluded: Frankenstrange, Z-Type, Pigale, Roosevelt
The Stirling GT is unknown at this stage and if allowed will run without its spare tyre/spoiler. Downgrades might also be needed.
Approved Cars: Pegassi Monroe; Dewbachee JB700; Grotti Stinger GT; Declasse Mamba; Lampadati Casco and Invetero Coquette Classic.
Car selection: Teams should suggest their top 3 picks and I will assign. NOTE: Spawning a car for your teammate is completely acceptable and encouraged if drivers are cash strapped (THANKS OBAMA MCEC)
Grid: Randomised.
Teams: Teams of two, driving the same car and sponsored by an in-game business
Tyre types: Wired or Big Worm from Lowriders ONLY (to replicate wire rims from this era. NOTE: Where stock rims are wired, i.e. JB700, Stinger - these may be used. No non-wired wheels will be allowed though)
Rules: Standard NoDo racing rules apply, along with FIA F1 overtaking rules.
Neons: No. We're going for a classic look. None of that riff-raff.
Licence plates: Blue-and-yellow is the classic car plate for San Andreas, so you will need to use this.
Points: Since this is a one off, the points will be closer to 1960s style points with 1st place scoring 10pts, and 10th place scoring 1pt. Bonus points for best style will be given (car and driver).
Attitude: Have fun. If you love the look of the Stinger GT but worry you won't win in it, that's all wrong.
