Nice event Tuesdy , was a lot of fun! I was starting 11th every race and had to find ways through the first corner crashes every time. I hope we can do something like this again soon.

Overall I was happy with the way most things went. The racing was fun and I got to see some new lines from great drivers. I'm giving the coolest looking Cheetah award to WildKidd for the orange rims orange car combo. I would also like to apologize for an accident on McKenzie where someone reentered the track and I hit them, it was marginal so I kept on going, nothing personal. Lunar Loops first turn was the disaster I thought it might be, my bad for choosing that track. Thanks for hosting! But if someone reenters the track, its not your fault if you hit them, they should wait to reenter until there is enough space.

Didn't win any races, but got in the top 3! My lowest position was 5th. I was surprised by my performance.

I tried to evoid you but didn't work. this was the most frustrating playlist i ever done. Davis raceway catchupp some guys and when i did pass 1 or 2 i got token out. Disconnected from psn at the end of race 4. Thanks for the host Tuesdy. Would realy like to do this again but then with a car like the turismo or the zentorno for some real speed

Thanks for organizing and hosting Mike, great event. But to be honest I wasn't really impressed with the attitude of most racers. I expected more from what I've heard and seen of NODO. Don't really know anyone yet, so I haven't remembered any names (and I was paying attention to everything else but names), but apart from few, I have not seen much consideration to other drivers. Wish there was more respect and some more brakes (and less lag). I saw what you're talking about too a couple times. Don't remember who it was, I just remember getting turned a few times and them not stopping. Not a big deal for me though considering.... Yes I got taken out once and they didn't wait up!

Like you said lag plays a big role. Also, a lot of people don't really know how to handle a situation like that with so many players. The people who are a bit more experienced in events know that you need to brake much earlier than expected, not by slamming the brakes, but gradually slowing down. People force themselves trying to make up positions at the start, but its much better to take it easy, avoid incidents, and make up positions that way. After I let everyone pass on the last track, I made up about 8 positions that way within one lap. Had too many chokes after that unfortunately.

yeah i had to go slow on the last 2 races after going about 2 seconds a lap faster then the guy ahead, i couldn't over take because of lag, and yeah people need to learn its better to wait then to fight for a position and crash and lose more then you would have if you waited

I tried staying out of the collisions, but the start of lunar loops someone went under me, then I flipped and he didn't wait up. Apex and I had a little collision on lunar loops in the Galileo joined section.

It was a fun event, I really liked! Thanks to Mike for the organization! But I must agree with zmurko, I´m a bit disappointed with some incidents that occured on the race. Also, I must congratulate my colleague adayracer for competing with a lower power car, he was wearing no Turbo and 3 ECU, he wasn´t wearing an improved suspension too, nice performance on that 4th race! I recorded a video where I show some of my bad luck and some of the incidents in the races, I didn´t do this video to blame anybody, there are just some incidents that pissed me off a lot! Thanks!

Hmm this definitely changed my mind about this event after seeing what was going on at the back. So many desperate overtakes, not leaving enough space for each other, not waiting after take outs, not accepting being overtaken, and generally disrespectful racing. Just because these races were pre-organised doesnt mean everyone need to go crazy and get as many overtakes done as quickly as possible. Use your brakes and be patient trying to overtake. Avoiding incidents will give much better results than trying to do overtake quickly. TiaguiNho Honestly, I must say some of these incidents were your own fault though.

Thanks for posting this, let's discuss it. I have been thinking back on this event quite a bit in order to learn from it's shortcomings. The major issues in my mind were lag, starting procedure, and driver etiquette.
1. Lag - Maybe I should not have hosted, but instead let someone with a superior internet connection do so. I experienced a huge lag spike at the start of Davis Raceway and judging by the video others did as well. There were people from at least 3 different continents in the race and I don't know if there is a way around lag issues when information has to be passed around the globe in real time like that. I should have probably limited the field to 10 racers.
2. Starting Procedure - I thought that the Cheetah would make for less crashes and I still think it's a very stable car in general, however I overlooked the fact that most people are just not that use to driving it competitively because they spend so much time in the Zentorno, Turismo, and Osiris. Even with that being said a rolling start or a qualifier would clean things up quite a bit depending on the track. The default grid was very unfair.
3. Driver Etiquette - In some cases I understand what happened and how it may appear to others. Obviously there is some of the traditional "It didn't happen on my screen" stuff going on for most everyone, but in the specific case of me overtaking on the Shark GP hairpin (about 7:25 in the vid) I remember thinking something like "There is a wreck in font of me, let me just try to slide by on the inside." Looking at the video I do hit you, but as I'm going through I don't stop because I don't know who caused the accident, all I know is that many cars are blocking the road and I had nothing to do with it, why should I stop? That's my thought process at the time and I can see others viewing situations similarly for themselves, but I am not sure if it's the best way to do things and we can discuss that. It gets complicated because people want to win and waiting means that's less likely and waiting for accidents you didn't cause or having to go around them in frustrating especially amidst the confusion of people seemingly not waiting for you. Add into the confusion some people genuinely not understanding and/or abusing the rules and things deteriorate quickly. People understanding the rules is the first step in addressing the problem. I can see from this video that some people did not read and comprehend the post I made about the event outlining the rules. The second part is understanding the lag and how it shows and doesn't show on everyone's screens. If you are driving next to someone and they all of a sudden crash from nothing, it's very likely that on their screen you bumped them... people need to understand and look for this and many don't. Once that knowledge is understood it becomes a matter of breaking properly with other cars around you and other driving skills, which for many people will take some getting use to. I would like to encourage people to give constructive criticism, ask questions, apologize, voice concerns on whatever the case may be so we can all get better and have fun events. We are a group of people that have different skill levels and experience, but we do all enjoy clean racing and the pool of PS3 players is shrinking all the time, so let's make the best of what we got by helping and challenging each other in a productive way.
So I would like to formally apologize for my crashes, I am sorry and my intention was not to ruin any races. I would also like to apologize for the crashes that were caused by people not using Cheetahs, it was my responsibility to kick out people who failed to choose the right car and then failed to pull off and stay out of everyone else's way. I definitely failed everyone in that regard.
