Both races from my perspective ... Despite some lagg issues it went pretty well. Thanks for that. The rapid GT (bright orange) was so pleasant to drive on the straights in the first race. Overtake people and then try to defend the position. I enjoyed that race very much (even though I was taken out in the end which is okay on its own but I missed a checkpoint in the process and did not notice that for over a minute). I would have a one request though. When people are crossing the finish line could they move to the side or target the car out of the track? As someone in front of me finished and his car blocked the middle of the road and I was unable to avoid a crashing to it in my no-brakes barely-turning rapid. For the second race I am sorry for causing a trouble. I could not handle well my carbonazi (bright orange) and when I choked I often cough others in my accident and later also lapping drivers were caught in the process which made me very angry at myself. Also to the Tony and one more driver (whose name I do not remember) which I "battled" in the end but I had a bit of lag with them so there was a contact over here and there.

GalantEvo, be happy you can participate in such a high level event. Yes, there're issues sometimes, but that's a part of racing. Just look at Raikkonen's race in the last Grand Prix. After losing his front wing, having a puncture and having other damage as well, he managed to finish 5th. Just don't give up. I also had to learn that myself as I was way to competitive. I still am sometimes. And if you get launched by someone, just type mid air, it's not like you can do much else at that moment.

GalantEvo Because of that crash i missed an chekpoint and drove a half round without noticing. So i've lost my midfield position and were stuck on position 25 but I ended the race because it was a lot of fun to drive and i would do it everytime again. Also you kicked me out in the last turn of the first race but I didn't blame you for that because it might be you didn't notice it. You drove into the Pit and i missed the checkpoint and had to turn around. But in the second race there was one black comet which was lagging massivley and brought me to some difficulties with overtaking. I said it loud but the drive didn't noticed or didn't wanted to notice. That was a real breakdown of my feelings in the race. But I have to say that I loved to drive with all of you. And it was real fun. For the second 2 races I would change my cars. Verlierer and 9F Thanks.

If you can't overtake someone that you are much quicker than, that's the time you should do a pit so you can put in some quick laps after and hopefully overtake them while they pit if you made up enough time. I don't know what you mean by "difficulties with overtaking" but telling someone the latency between you and them is bad isn't going to make people pull over and let you by.

i was not the only one who hat difficulties with latency with that black comet. My point is that everything can happen but that's no point for me to give up in both races i was on the last 5 positions. I don't think it is because i'm driving so bad. There were problems with others and some driving failures by me. That might be a bad day for me but I had fun and that is for me the most important thing.

I didn't crash into you, the Comet(Brownish with a nodo logo I think) crashed into me, then I went into you. He never waited so I thought it was just the thing to do. I got taken out at least 4 times through out the event and no one waited. In hindsight. I felt real bad for the next few laps, but I got taken out by another car and thought if everyone else does it, why should I feel bad? Thats not the attitude we're looking for here. If you feel bad about crashing someone, your fault or someone else, why don't you wait? If you get taken out and no one waits, why didn't you call them out? No one is supposed to crash and go, everyone has to wait. I'd suggest you change your attitude or don't join for part two of the tests. Example of how you should handle a (lag)hit. I had contact with st0cking 's 9F, it didn't feel right to claim the position like I did, so I gave it back, bit of respect and sportsmanship. That is what we are looking for. I may sound like a total ass saying that about myself, but exactly this is what was lacking in SATCC Season 3 and played a big role in stoppipng the season early. Beware that these kind of hits look much worse of the receiving party 9 out of 10 times because of latency. For you it might have been a slight tap, but for the other it might have felt like a huge hit sending them off the track.

Guys, don't worry about being on pace. You learn as you go. Focus on being a great racer, and a fun racer. Saber and I finished 10th and 11th on race 2. Saber's netted a podium finish and I've managed a 6th place. We're quicker than our results, and yet that doesn't matter. What matters is the quality of the battles, and the fun we had. Everyone from the vets group i spoke to afterwards said it was the best fun they've had in an SATCC-linked event in months. That's a success from my point of view, not finding someone half a second quicker than the front runners. Oh don't get me wrong, I don't mind being at the back at all. My point was that I had a blast despite being off the pace, implying that you don't need to be on pace to have a hell of a good time. I still have a long way to go but I'll be damned if I don't enjoy every second of racing with and learning from you guys.

Video in your last post is set to private Oh_Darncriffin123 "Laggy" Comet in the second race was probably me, but what of it? this is an Aussie hosted event and as such you should already be aware there are going to be bad connections if you aren't playing from Aus. Also fyi in-case people still don't know... This game is Peer to Peer, meaning the latencey goes both ways, we have people from all over the globe in these races, everyone is going to just have to deal with the lag.

It was a really minor hit but it slowed me down there and i'm not sure i had enough space to dodge it (was probably pretty close). Wouldn't have been mad if you didn't wait because its not like it made me crash into anything but it was a nice gesture and it wouldve been sad for the little battle to end that way

Still going on about this.. The event was "Young Driver Test" ,, key point is TEST. Your rage quit showed the mentality we dont want.. "i got crashed, no one waited, im quitting" You should have carried on with the race, had fun at what ever place you were in, discussed the situation like adults after the event. The first race I just was in choke city, but on the second race a similar thing happened to me. Not sure what caused the incident but there were several cars involved. The reason I am posting is not to complain it is to say that even though I ended up in the back I still had some amazing battles with tony and a few others. Overall great event I had a blast and that's what racing should be about IMO. As a point of clarification. If you are punted into someone else by another vehicle what should you do? I mean you didn't cause the incident but are you still expected to wait?

Ideally you call the guy who punted you into someone out so he'll wait for that person. You don't have to wait if someone crashes you into someone else. I've waited a few times in situations like this in playlists because i didn't want any drama but in a championship I wouldn't wait if it wasn't my fault.

I know I'm not involved in the discussion you guys are having here but I think I'll just leave my two cents here, for GalantEvo. Watch the very beginning of Grotti F1 4th race at Monaco, in my opinion the most difficult track in the championship: Pay attention to the position, where that huge crash led me. Now guess what. I've managed to finish 3rd. Went down to 21st (which was "classified" as last, since we had a pitwatcher and 2 cameraman's, I believe). You can come back from anything, it won't be easy but it's definitely possible. Should I have just raged there? Just give up and quit? No, just move on and make up your lost positions. Pulling a comeback is very satisfying, I would risk saying that it's even more satisfying than finishing 1st, you can really feel that you achieved something big. So next time, don't rage, stay calm and remember to call out people, simply by typing their name. You can always PM ender/event's host post-race.

GalantEvo you're not a calm driver either. May I remember you about the drivebomb you did on me in Sedans Cup? It was your fault, and I even waited for you. You ruined my race pretty much, do I rant about you? Not so much. I am very experienced, I don't know about you. But you want new players to immediately know what to do, without you calling them out? Come on.
