Oh yeah and guys I'm really sad you couldn't see the track at night with rain, i was REALLY hoping for that because with rain in nighttime its the most beautiful track i've ever played  Leaving the thread here for a day or max 2, don't move it to completed yet please. After running back Broughy's bc24 race in the mcec, I see what you mean. Blaine looks amazing in the night rain |

Eva Judging from your stream the drs line seemed to do its thing for you, every curb made a noise, some bumped your rear up a little.. seems normal to me. And i remember you saying gio gaining on you on that jump so i looked at your jumps. Try to steer your car backwards a bit so you land on the rear wheels, most cars go faster when you land like that. Was hesitant to tell you that because youre already fast enough but whatever  I figured it out the jump thing toward the end. Regarding the DRS not helping much, I'll post some timestamps. Note that I thought the DRS rules were the opposite of what they actually were, so I took the DRS line on some of my laps in the first half of the race illegally. I also gave CHill a hard time for taking it when he was actually in the right. Sorry about that. - Video - Not catching up.
- Video - Not catching up.
- Video - Illegal DRS on my part. Chill, has to stop DRSing in order to avoid rear-ending me.
- Video - Grim (DRSing) gains 6 car lengths on me (not DRSing)
- Next three laps had Illegal DRSes again, but not really anyone to compare to due to no one being around or me crashing right before the DRS zone.
- Video - Not catching up to Grim. And finally understanding the DRS rules.
- Video - Gio, ahead of me, goes off-road on the turn onto the highway. With me on DRS and having a much better entrance onto the highway, I only manage to gain 2 car lengths on him. Count the number of times that my car glides over the bumps. I count 12 times where I could at least hear the bump, and 4 where there was no reaction/sound
- Video - SUCCESS! Gained 5 car lengths on Gio. Notice the final 3 bumps though. Silent, and no reaction from the car. As if they weren't even there.
- Video - Nothing to see here, other then Grumples_Plox (grimreaper977) getting shot by .fiyah
- Video - Gained maybe 2 car lengths from DRS
- Video - Gio gains maybe 7 car lengths on me.
- Video - Was gaining on Gio before the DRS zone because I took the corner better. I think that, accounting for my better line, the DRS zone itself gave me 4-5 car lengths. That is until I blew it away by being so focused on the split times (which are cut off in the top left)
- Video - Granted, not the best start to the highway section. My bad line loses me ~3 car lengths to YOLO. By the end of the straight I have gained ~3 car lengths due to the DRS. Gio, who was maybe 6 car lengths behind me at the start and is also DRSing, disengages from the DRS and almost passes me.
- Video - DRS gives me 2.5 car lengths.
So my issue wasn't that the DRS wasn't working, it was that it wasn't working very well. It seemed like others would gain 5-7 car lengths by taking it while I gained 2-5 -Eva |

There's some addons you can get that stop flash/html5/java/etc from even loading until you click on them when you load into a new page. I find it's pretty damn handy for pesky videos that like to play immediately when I'm browsing around. I know. I have a flash blocker installed for obvious reasons. But since I watch twitch very often it is on the whitelist. |

Can you pls not post (embedded) twitch videos? They are playing automatically which cause the browser to load it. That's annoying, pls Eva and GalantEvo , remove the embedded video and post just the link. Thank you. Understandable. It is done. Thanks everyone, that was a good race, amazing track and some good battles. Just like to report some issues with the DRS: like me, some others crashed due to that, but maybe that was my fault because i really don't know how to use them. Could someone please tell how to do it?

Thanks everyone, that was a good race, amazing track and some good battles. Just like to report some issues with the DRS: like me, some others crashed due to that, but maybe that was my fault because i really don't know how to use them. Could someone please tell how to do it? Just drive over them with all four wheels, and hope for the best. That's how I did it. |
