Grotti F1 World Championship Season 3 Race 4, Checkerboard Circuit
Creator: Bezerka3 Race length: 46 laps Weather: Noon/Clear Pit Stop Time: 10 Seconds Pit Window 1: Laps 12-15 Pit Window 2: Laps 27-30
18:30 UTC: Pre-Race lobby will open 19:00 UTC: Qualifying will begin 19:30 UTC: Race start
Note: Drivers should be cautious of other drivers who are leaving the pits when driving by the pit exit to the right of the start/finish line.
Once the qualifying has finished the race will be 'replayed' and the grid-order will be determined, based on each driver's fastest lap from the previous qualifying session. This process will be led by myself and the race officials, with the driver qualifying on pole position dictating which side of the starting grid they start on.
Rage-quitting will not be tolerated and will result in losing your place in the championship. Spectating the event is also forbidden.
Please remember you must wait for 10 seconds at the pit exit for each mandatory pit stop. Failure to do so will result in a penalty. The mandatory pit windows are stated above. There is no overtaking in the pits unless a car ahead of you somehow makes a catastrophic mistake. When waiting to return to the track it is ideal to wait in the same formation that you entered the pits, meaning if you entered the pits behind another car you must form a queue behind that car. If you enter the pits side-by-side then form the queue as such, etc. There will be a pit watcher in the pits at all times. It is not their job to tell you when to rejoin the track and it is your job to enter the track safely. Bare in-mind that you can pit at any point in the race and not just the mandatory windows. If your car is damaged and you wish to pit outside of the mandatory pit windows then you do not have to wait for 10 seconds to re-enter the track, this is only necessary during the windows. Any questions regarding anything else just let me know, cheers. See you all tonight!Tags: DV8R DucatiDoctor lukesmith25 ediblehornet @brocildrop4334 formulamoss daanweerts t1dead smooothjayd darealmarkmyers Bdogs crimson335i jjracing equationunequal Banter AA JORDAN AA you gonna be online soon, wanna get some practice and compare my times with someone

Fine, don't tag me then. First of all, Dv8r is able to be a race official today, so there's no point in three race officials, is there?

Right, cause people can handle 16 people in a lobby but on that 17th we have problems. I signed up intending to help officiate this race and I intend to help officiate this race. The main reason being that I don't want to show up to Race 5 and have no clue what the hell I'm doing. If you won't let me in this race don't bother relying on me at all.

In that case, state why you wanted to officiate this race as well. However officiating has so far proved to be a very easy job, aside from gathering the qualifying times there hasn't been much else to do and is very self explanatory.

I've already stated why I wanted to officiate this race. There's not much I can elaborate on. You have now, yes. But like I said, officiating is pretty self-explanatory and Ducati will be fairly well equipped to handle any issues. The main role during the race of the officials is to ensure everyone takes their mandatory pit stops for 10 seconds. If a safety car is called then it is up to whoever is responsible for the safety car to be deployed. As DV8R has stated; if there is no safety car, which there hasn't been so far, then the race officials don't really have anything to do other than contribute to the sporadic banter and find decent camera angles. On that note, Jordan will be missed tonight.
