Dzui , may i ask why 40% armor? Hey man, so the idea was to aid the F1 simulation aspect regarding car damage whistle till compromising for GTA's physics. In hindsight I feel this may not be a necessary regulation and is likely to be removed and, provided a next season/event takes place will likely be replaced with a mandatory pit system. This is my first event so naturally I need the experience to shoe me what whats and what doesn't, but thanks for the query mate! |

Dzui , may i ask why 40% armor? The more important question would be: how on earth do you plan on checking if the correct armor is applied to the car? We tried armor restrictions in season 1 and it failed miserably. It's impossible to check accurately and relying on good faith isn't going to work... Hey, as stated this is being looked at and is likely to be removed, although this was one of the original rules stated when tagged you for approval. Regarding previous F1, even though this event is supposed to be completely separate from the previous F1 seasons, it will be a good indicator as to whether a Turismo F1 could still happen and depending on the success of this event will lead the way for the official Season 3 to begin planning. |

Hey guys!
So by tomorrow night this event will be close to completion in-terms of preparation. Some of the tracks have been in development and some of the rules have been altered slightly. Ultimately this will not affect the event, and with so much time before the event starts, this should not affect anyone's preparation.
There has been some talk of this event possibly being the third season of the F1 Championship. I want to clarify that this is not the case, this is a separate event and has no links to the previous F1 Championship. However, if this event goes-ahead successfully it will more than likely lead towards a more organised, competitive and equally relaxed official Season 3 of F1. At the end of Season 2 there seemed to be so much negativity regarding the Turismo and certain rules that hopefully this event can put the fun back in to F1 style GTA racing.

if you're not going to sign up, dont vote. this event dosnt need any negativity. so there is no reason to pick " no f1 ever "

I guess people can just not sign up if they don't like the idea, but it's pointless to make a poll and ask people to answer it a certain way, sorta self-defeating. You guys should also ask what the hosts of the official season 1 and 2 think, they probably don't care, but it's still polite to pay them the thought. out:Tshitstorm |
