49 hours before the deadline only 13 screenshots have been submitted so far. That's just half of the signups. This forces me to think about what will happen with a fewer amount of participants as expected: 14 or less -> event gets cancelled or postponed 15 -> 3 teams with 5 drivers, 0 drivers drop out 16 -> 4 teams with 4 drivers, 0 drivers drop out 17 -> 4 teams with 4 drivers, 1 driver drops out 18 -> 3 teams with 6 drivers, 0 drivers drop out 19 -> 3 teams with 6 drivers, 1 driver drops out 20 -> 4 teams with 5 drivers, 0 drivers drop out 21 -> 3 teams with 7 drivers, 0 drivers drop out 22 -> 3 teams with 7 drivers, 1 driver drops out 23 -> 3 teams with 7 drivers, 2 drivers drop out 24 -> 4 teams with 6 drivers, 0 drivers drop out 25 -> 4 teams with 6 drivers, 1 driver drops out 26 -> 4 teams with 6 drivers, 2 drivers drop out 27 -> 4 teams with 6 drivers, 3 drivers drop out 28 -> 4 teams with 7 drivers, 0 drivers drop out 29+ -> 4 teams with 7 drivers, 1+ drivers drop out That means, we will race with 15, 16, 18, 20, 21, 24 or 28 drivers depending on the number of submitted screenshots. Make sure you are not one of the three slowest qualifiers to have a guaranteed spot in the event. I will edit the "Race time to beat" in the opening post after the 15th participant has qualified every time I get a new screenshot depending on the number of participants of the table above. In case we have only three teams, I will remove the wrenches of the unassigned pit box. You can still signup today until midnight (UTC) and submit a qualifying screenshot until the deadline on Sunday to participate in this event.I will consider using signups after midnight as fill-ups to reach the next higher number of participants. But you have to submit a screenshot in every case to be in this event. I'm going to pull out of this one, very sorry RapTor_X_ and I was looking forward to doing this event but as it is right before SATCC and I haven't had the urge to even play this game for long enough to pracice recently it would be pointless me staying in. Sorry again raptor. |

I'm sad more people haven't put in the time to submit a screenshot. I know SATCC is right after this but surely there are enough people not doing SATCC that we can fill this up.
Anyways it'll be fun Raptor. I'm looking forward to it.

I would like to participate, but not right in front of the SATCC. I know SATCC was planned in a later stage, but if you postpone it to a date where there is no touring cars, you'll have a few more competitors.

I had this event pretty much ready to go in April.
I went all the way to July to avoid MCEC, F1 etc. and fit it into my real life schedule, so I can be here to answer questions, handle the screenshots, prepare all the magic the spreadsheet will do for me in the end and so on...
When ender announced the SATCC dates, I immediately pointed out the conflict and asked to move a SATCC break to July 29th. But he refused and instead put out his own one-off event in the SATCC breaks.
We will do this event next Friday.

Qualifying Results16 drivers submitted a screenshot, so there will be 4 teams with 4 drivers. Noone gets dropped. Here are the results of the qualifying and the grid order of the race: Yes, Simon beat Superstepa_ by only 0.076 seconds. Fastest lap time is taken from the screenshot with the fastest race time. For example I did my PB 01:01.380 on a overall slower attempt. Most participants only send in one screenshot. Some sent in more. You can download a ZIP-archive here with all submitted screenshots. The team captains will be contacted shortly to find a date/time for the draft, which be held on TeamSpeak with support of a Google Spreadsheet. Announcement will come as early as possible.

There needs to be better collaboration and coordination so that more events can be scheduled without major conflicts. Oh well. It's done now. |
