(COMPLETE) One Hour Magic Championship Season 2 (Ps4)

End of season essay.

First of all. Lemme just say that this has been a roller coaster with many lows and a few highs. With many people complaining at me for gaps. I'm only human guys, I'm the only one who every week drove 8 cars around the track just to get a suitable time. Yes, sometimes, shit happens and some people who are quicker than me benefit from that factor. I can only do so much to make it as balanced as possible. But I can't sort out 25 start times for every single person. So can people stop calling this rigged. I've had enough of it. If it was truly rigged, I would have won the championship and most races. You guys are the ones to blame since most of you never even showed up to the gaps testing. When names such as A-Wes-7, Nema, Ged, Maci don't show up. They end up benefiting from that because I don't know what times they are hitting. 

Season Goals:
1) Win a race
2) Don't DNF everyrace (I DNF'd 5/6 races in Season One)
3) Try to place better overall than I did Season One (7th)

Now let's go over the races.

Race One - Sports Classics:
Casco drivers hit laps about 4 seconds quicker. I couldn't do anything about it since none of them showed to gaps testing. Everyone else seemed fine not including the two Z-Type drivers who ended up being lapped by GT8 and Everyone else. I love the Z-Type so I was hoping to do well. I wasn't pushing just because I wanted the event to end well and have no issues. I ended up crossing the line in 9th after a last lap choke which allowed DR_PEPPERZ_ to get ahead into 8th. But I was just happy that this race was balanced mostly well. 

Race Two - Sports B:
This is one of two tracks that had held previous OHM races on it. I won the PS3 race in the Sultan and Maci7772 won the PS4 race in the Kuruma. So I would have loved to win again in the Sultan, as the race went on I wasn't able to pick up the victory. But I was closing in on RAGE_RACER89 and dawsonlkol01 . Then our "lag orgy" happened. For a brief moment I thought I would get 4th. (Which would be my highest position in OHM Championship races) But then Dawson hit me off the cliff. I ended up in 5th after RAGE and I was pissed.

Race Three - Sedans:
Who could forget that moment where Nema DCed from the race. Or the first race that featured awes7 . I had a good feeling going into this race. As during the gaps testing, Shadyfruit and myself beat the current hotlap record on Sandy Speedway. We ended up beating our previous times during the race. I finished in 6th. Could have been 4th If I didn't get launched onto the building xD But I'm alright with that just because I was laughing at what happened XD

Race Four - Compacts:
This was the most hectic race in my opinion with unlapping. I was going strong, on the last lap I passed RAGE_RACER89 and then immediately choked XD. I was done after that  

Round Five - Muscles
This was the race that made me want to panic. The Coquette Blackfin test lap was slower than the Blade. Which caused for a last minute change to the Dominator. So, I wasn't very fond to drive the Dominator on another long desert track again xD (Season One, Round One was Muscles on BC24h) But I dealt with it and the Vigero's ended up being much faster than anticipated. Nothing I could have done there.

Round Six - Off-Roads
This was probably my favourite race this season. I always wanted to do a off-roads OHM race but it didn't make the cut for Season One much to my disapproval XD So I put it in Season Two! Just the variety available in the off-roads class is just
 
Anyways, I was having my strongest performance in the championship history. Having an epic battle with Nema until the guardrail said enough of that. That was stupid still but that one down doesn't outscore the race I had trying to keep Nema behind for 30/36 laps. This ended up being my new best position in a OHM race since I won back in October in the Sultan. So I was happy to hit the podium for once!

Round Seven - Sports A
This race was a mess due to the quickest drivers starting in the slowest cars. Thus, they ended up being on nearly the same pace as GT1s. and with cars in the middle of the track that made things worse. That's all I can say really. Feltzer is also the worst car I've ever had to race for 60 mins. 

Round Eight - Supers
             
What the actual fuck. I won. Against awes7 , igg07 and RAGE_RACER89 . Who would have ever called it. Maybe mountainged when he said to me "Go win Brady" XD Not only that, but my heart rate was so high throughout the entire race. Esspicially on that last lap when igg07 missed the checkpoint, which left myself RAGE_RACER89 to battle for our first championship win in two seasons. I was pushing sooo hard this race that I never knew I could push this hard This also proves what practice can actually do for a person. This was the only race I actually did over 50 laps practice the week of. I only managed to hit into the 4:13 barrier the day of the race. After being consistent with 4:16s the entire week. I guess the pressure was so high that I managed to pull a Broughy xD (win the last race on my own hills track) (cough cough MCEC R10) Anyways, This is and I believe always will be the best race I've ever done in GTA 5. The shame of this race is that most of footage didn't save. But hey, After a long season. I finally get the win when it count's the most.
